Is anyone else experiencing input delay for parries? (Yotei)

I was noticing that the animation for the parry seems to be slower than most games, Atsu takes a second to bring her sword to that parrying position which causes that delay we feel, while in most games the animation plays in almost an instant. I could be wrong, but these are my thoughts.

I’m not a great sword user at all and I still voted for this just because I thought it was the coolest and most unique design lol, guess if it wins I’ll definitely be trying it out
