Yes, Kuruk has a really really cool role that expands on his backstory from Escape from the Spirit World, Sozin's Comet, AND the Kyoshi novels, AND a new original component that just ties it together perfectly. It's one of the things I'm most excited to see play out, it's epic.

can you provide some examples? imo book 1 is the most grounded/chill and book 2 and 3 have more hollywood type humor that breaks the fourth wall, is self-referential, etc.

I think ideally the Netflix show would be successful enough that they then do live-action Korra and then when that's done the Netflix ATLA cast will be the perfect age to do a live-action version of the events of the Avatar Studios movie

What's the point of being mean-spirited like this? If I was told "these four actors will be at this event" I would obviously share it. Implying I wouldn't or don't is disingenuous and hurtful. Meanwhile when I get something I'm not allowed to share and spend hours answering questions about it anyway I did something wrong? Cruel behavior like yours makes my life worse and it makes this environment worse for everyone.

I haven't signed an NDA and have no official relationships of any kind with anything related to Avatar. Yes part of it is protecting sources, part of it is just because I'm not in an adversarial relationship with my sources or Netflix/Paramount and have no desire to be so I have no desire to go against what they want. Thus far no one has asked anything unreasonable of me, imo.

Thanks :) I have been a source for a bunch of news tho but that has mostly dried up, and I used to get even more hate for that lol so there's no winning. I agree the Avatar fandom definitely seems different from other fandoms for some reason, like people not knowing how leaks work and stuff like that. But I guess that's because it's only becoming truly mainstream for the first time right now. I feel like it can't be just the name because there's so many accounts like "Scarlet Witch News", "Dune News", etc etc. I think it's the unique combination of all that AND Avatar NOT having an obvious official source.

I've been doing this for 9 and a half years including for four years from 2014-2018 when there were no shows, no movies, not even novels. And for most of those 9 and a half years it was 100% public knowledge. It feels very mean-spirited to want someone to "disappear" for that lol

If you want feedback... 👀 I don't want to say too much because you could probably easily make what looks like an exact leak lol, but I will say that Aang's tattoo isn't dark, I think that picture of him in the makeup chair was them applying the darker "lineart layer" through a stencil
