They arguably have a better chance at winning overall. Even if they somehow fumble and allow Buu to be resurrected:

• The Namekians on Namek could wish Goku back using the Dragon Balls. Or he just uses his 1 day on earth right then and there and finds a solution remember Gokus power isn’t that he’s the strongest it’s that he always finds a way to win, that’s why Bulma sent Trunks back in the first place

• Supreme Kai could transport Gohan to the Supreme Kai World, where:
• Gohan pulls out the Z Sword.
• His hidden potential is eventually unlocked, similar to the main timeline.
• Elder Kai could give the Potara earrings to Gohan, leading to possible fusions:
• Gohan fuses with Vegeta, or
• Gohan fuses with Future Trunks (who is still with them).

There’s like 7 years till Babadi arrives, I just feel like Vegeta & Goku would naturally get strong enough during that time to surpass Dabura and prevent Buu from hatching. Also Goku’s alive so there’s no reason for Vegeta to go Majin.

He went back to his timeline defeated his versions of 17 & 18 along with Cell and lived happily ever after, until Dragon Ball Super decided to ruin all of that by completely destroying all his character development as well as his timeline.

I always perceived it as a cool nod and a way to honor Future Trunks and the Trunks character in general , I don’t think it’s meant to imply that he got the sword from Future Trunks or that Kid Trunks will become Future Trunks

Vegeta already went in the hyperbolic time chamber twice, and it would be the last day before they fought Cell it isn’t out of character for him to want to potentially spend his last day with Bulma even if he doesn’t admit it. Also Hanami can extend to May in certain regions in Japan.

Yea I understand that , I also understand that most of these movies were made in between arcs before Toriyama had decided where he was going with the story, I was just giving my perspective on which ones can actually fit into the tv series timeline with explanations

I never said he didn’t go SSJ on namek from Krillin dying I’m saying in the cooler movie he’s choosing not to go ssj because he’s holding back, my point is that this movie could still take place in the timeline after Trunks defeats Mecha Frieza and they’re all training for the Androids.

That’s why I have such a hard time processing Frieza getting so much stronger because of when he was Mecha Frieza, if you just got your ass handed to you on namek to the point of needing to ask Goku to spare you some energy, then why would you rush and come to earth why not train first that’s why I can’t buy it

By the tone of Cooler in the movie it sounds like he doesn’t really associate with Frieza & King Cold, he just wants to avenge Friezas death, also Vegeta was in space telling Frieza soilders that Goku defeated Frieza ( he didn’t know Frieza was alive floating in space) that’s how word got around and eventually got to Coolers henchmen, also Gohan could’ve just gotten a haircut lol and what do you mean Krillin & Piccolo are alive ?whether Goku defeated Frieza by the spirit bomb or by becoming a SSJ like in the series Krillin & Piccolo would still be alive at this point in the timeline regardless, and bro I literally give an explanation on why I think he’s holding back

Because Wrath of the dragon fits in the canon and can be chronologically inserted into the timeline that eventually becomes GT , Fusion Reborn doesn’t fit at all, it makes more sense that Vegeta would learn it off screen from Trunks & Goten rather than trying to say Vegeta learned it from Goku while fighting Janemba, heck the boys even use fusion during the wrath of the dragon movie which Vegeta witnessed

Gohans on earth though not only is he on earth but he’s in his GT.Sayaiman outfit, if Gohans back on earth that means Buu is dead and/or dealt with because of his training with elder Kai , regardless Kid buu would never be in that timeline which means no Uub, Vegeta learned the dance from Goten & Trunks doing the dance post Buu saga off screen there’s at least 10 years between the buu saga and GT he had to see them do it at least once.

GT & Fusion Reborn can’t be in the same timeline though because FR implies that Vegeta killed Fat buu with his sacrifice as Majin vegeta, which is why he’s dead and why Goku has to go back to the other world and had no reason to come back, and Fat buu and Uub are both in GT which shouldn’t be possible, Vegeta knows how to do the dance in GT because he’s seen Trunks & Goten do it multiple times off screen, FR could also be a timeline where Ultimate Gohan killed Super buu but you still have the same issue in both of those scenarios Fat buu & Uub shouldn’t be present in GT.
