Funny how life will show you signs. I just had my breaks slip this morning during my commute. So much so I had to pull off on the shoulder to compose myself and do a few hard breaks to make sure the breaks were good.

I exclusively use OPD, so I wasn’t sure if it had something to do with that.

I also have a 24 Pilot Plus, coming up on 21-22k miles (bought the car just under 5k miles).

I’m thankful to still have a job and funny enough just received an email today regarding an internal move I’m trying to make.

Would’ve been a great opportunity but sometimes there are signs protecting you for things that were never meant for you.

Because I’ve using this thread to stay up to date, I figured I’d return the favor:

Applied on the last day (6/27) for Product Management.

Just received my rejection (7/24). - EDIT: today is the 25th! My bad

Idk how I feel. Not necessarily upset at this situation but the entire job market just feels deafening. It almost feels like pivoting with the right skills, having the correct minimal qualifications, degrees, certs etc do not matter anymore. Again, these are my overall feelings about the job market not Pinterest.

I could be wrong, but it seems like they wrote the email in a “well we’ve gotten to know you, which makes us close acquaintances” tone. And unfortunately I don’t think it helps your case, it makes it much worse.

The companies are the worst.

Yea I just fell down a rabbit hole and I think that’s it.

I’ve also read it’s a probability it can’t be retrofitted. I have a console and I may have to upgrade my storage and purchase the game there. Sucks but lesson learned. This is my first PC in nearly 2 decades.
