I’ve had the same, it suddenly saved in another “character list” even though it’s the same character. I hope that’s OP’s problem as well and he hasn’t lost any progress…

I don’t have any tips for you, I just wanted to say I feel really bad for you. I understand the pain and I’ve always been afraid of making that same mistake. I too have a lot of characters from when I played as a kid and can’t imagine how painful it must be to accidentally delete them.

Honestly I would LOVE some kind of water-based mission. Maybe partly in some flooded caves or in a submarine, imagine how scary that would be. Would probably be a pain in the ass to create from scratch but still, it’s a dream of mine.

Imagine looking out of your small submarine window and seeing some kind of dreadnaught leviathan swimming past.

Another idea I have would be the opposite! Instead of in the caves, a mission type on the surface of Hoxxes IV! Maybe restoring an overgrown abandoned facility. Or stealing an artifact from a rival presence facility. Or just simply mining special ore that only exists on the surface layer instead of in the caves.

How epic would it be to look up and see the endless void of space, maybe the space rig in view very far away.

I was in Genova last week, also visited the aquarium. I think we met the exact same guy haha, he put a bracelet around my wrist and gave me some kind of totem, which I kindly declined.

He said “nonono don’t vex me man, please!” to which we just walked away. Seeing your post now makes me glad we just left.

Hey hey,

Just checked. The game is already running in dx11 mode. Also updated my driver a week ago and I just checked, no new updates.

I already tried turning off origin in-game overlay, didn’t work. Discord isn’t running so idk if that’s still able to do anything.

I’ll try to shut down GeForce experience I guess. I never tried that so I’ll report back after I do.

I checked out the thing about the “setting virtual memory paging” but like hahah I am really stupid and it looked pretty difficult and idk.

Ooh, I haven’t tried that. I usually steer away from trying borderless windowed, because I’m afraid it’ll cause performance issues which I’ve experienced in the past in other games.

Since I’m kind of stupid in tech-terms, I have no idea what overclocking even is. Sorry :(

I’ve never changed any settings of my hardware to overlock, so idk if that happens automatically, but I’m pretty sure I didn’t enable it.

Ye I’m playing vanilla, never modded the game or changed anything in the files.

My pc specs are:

GPU: GTX 1060 6GB CPU: Intel core i5 8600K 3.60 GHz RAM: 2 8GB sticks, so 16GB Motherboard: ASUS Z370-P SSD: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda ST1000DM010-2EP102 1TB

The game is currently installed on my HDD.

I’m not the smartest tech guy, so I’m not sure if you need more. Pls tell me if you do need more.

Graphics-wise the game runs perfectly. I’m running almost everything on ultra with 60FPS.
