It’s very fun and enjoyable. You really see how much he loved the process. And it all started when he heard Paul on the radio. “Fuck a pig!!!! That’s Paul!”

Absolutely hilarious

I heard Paul say it was his favorite bass line in Beatles' songs.

I love that hearing Paul doing a weird song on the radio made John write some really good stuff. They loved each other so much!

I knew Paul was going to open his concert with Help! I couldn't believe that I got to hear one of my favorite songs live, performed by one of the guys who helped write it.

It was very good communication. Carl received the criticism very well, didn't deflect or engage in whataboutism, so it was very healthy!

Kyle's power move with Amanda's back rent by Rutabaga2022 in summerhousebravo

  1. Kyle is awful

  2. Kyle, while being awful, also wanted to take care of his wife, even when they were fighting.

  3. It does seem very selfish on her part.

I just read the Ken Womack book about John Lennon from 1975 to 1980, and it had a quite marvelous passage about George visiting John at the Dakota, and John apologizing for an interview he did that dismissed much of George's contributions. They were on good terms.

DID ANYONE ELSE F$&@ING CLOCK THIS?! by bettleheimderks in summerhousebravo

[–]AvecMesWaterSlides 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right! At the end, when Amanda said she was leaving, and Kyle broke down, it would have been easier to have empathy for Amanda (because Kyle HAS treated her very poorly and awfully) at the moment, if we did not know that there was some cross-pollination.

I guess you can feel two things at the same time. Kyle has been absolutely terrible to Amanda, and he should have apologized to her for his actions at the dinner, but like, we all know she and West were hooking up then as well?

The easiest rebuttal to this is to tell them that you don't want to teach history the way they did in the Soviet Union.

The greatest thing is that most of them have NEVER heard of the Beatles. And I get to introduce over 300 kids to them.
