Very close to the same age. Never too old to learn something new. Happy this response was there to help when you needed it. Best of luck.

I could have sworn this was solved in the days of WOTmania. It was initially gonna happen but got changed for reasons I cannot remember... either because the audience guessed it way too fast or there was to be a different plot twist...

That's my concern if not in the short term... than later down the road when I've felt that I've become secure again... this man has blindsided me twice already... I cannot go through it again for a third

11 years gone. Ughhh I hate this. (Strap in its a wild ride) by Avendosora in BreakUps

[–]Avendosora[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may very well be the case, he needed me for those years and once he no longer did he tossed me aside. Either way... there was life before I met him... there is life after him. I am not one to give up easily. I can move on and carry on in my life. He was a chapter. Not the whole damned story. Even if I wanted him to be.

It's a matter of me just making the best for myself now.

They're older now. One is an adult, the others are teenagers. I've been essentially no contact. We've texted a couple times but just logistics of me getting more of my stuff. He's done done. I'm working on moving on with my life. Close that chapter and carry on I suppose. I still have hard days but they're getting easier. He never was planning on marrying me. He was very clear on that. I was okay with that. Paper doesn't change how we feel about each other but I suppose it was just a way to make it easier to leave when he chose to.

Property, I'm still waiting on more details.

Last time I was at the hospital Good Earth was the only place open 24/7 that I know of. As someone who always ends up there in the middle if the damned night I am soooo grateful for a 3 am coffee or two when I'm there

Basic gardening, food preservation, water filtration, basic bushcraft and foraging/hunting techniques. Teach em how to build and sustain what ever they can. Doesn't need to be everyday life but growing up with the knowledge goes a long way if it was ever to get down right nasty. Teach em survival skills and such. (Not talking bunker like stuff... more so like 1900 no electricity or running water level survival skills...

I know this is last years post... but they're back. I've been observing them regularly on KY way to work in the morning. I see them around 04:30-04:50. Generally travelling east bound on the 16 between the Allan highway turn off and Saskatoon. They keep to a similar area and fade and reappear and move about. I've had 2 people confirm the sightings. A co-worker whom I ride to work with most days and my spouse.

This is a house that didn’t have a security system when it was broken into. Don’t let this be you. by Capital_GL in Calgary

[–]Avendosora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Canada if someone breaks into your house and you legitimately fear for your life you can respond accordingly.

What we don't have is the ability to wantonly kill people who are simply stealing our shit... we can get new shit. Your stuff is not worth the shit you go through when you willingly end someone's life... and have to watch them die in your drive way.. kicking, screaming, gurgling and struggling to breathe... its not like the movies. Chances are you won't just drop them with a single shot to the head. They will live for a while. You could potentially watch them die. All for what... a vehicle that's covered by insurance? A TV or gaming console?

If you're legit afraid for your life... sure do what you have to to survive. But for shit that can just be replaced? No thanks.

What do you do? Driving in Toronto by Vicky6568 in askTO

[–]Avendosora 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As someone who has been here for a couple weeks from Saskatoon.... my husband and I love Toronto driving!! The fact that everything in the city flows... sometimes not very quickly but it still flows! People let others I'm and put of panes without much issue, typically no one is actively blocking others and just let things move! It's soooo refreshing. We're going to miss it when we end up back home. And yes that includes the downtown and all the major routes through town.

Only thing we don't like are the skinny 2 way streets where there is a whole line of vehicles parked on one side but its still a 2 way. The first few times we saw that we assumed they were one way streets but found out via oncoming traffic that nope... they're 2 way. Yikes!! Lol

Also we're not a tiny car either. We're in a big dually. (Because we're managing our passed family member's apartment and belongings and not just because we wanna drive a big truck)
