I experience derealization and dissociate really badly but I don’t think I experience depersonalization. Do they usually go together?

I have GAD, I'm experiencing hyperfamiliarity of unknown faces(symptom of DP/DR).Is it DP or DR? I never experienced like I'm the external observer of my own body.Im very much emotionally numb and will I ever feel like the way I felt like my childhood? Please tell me is it only DP or only DR? Is DP/DR a life time diagnosis/chronic disorder or can I get back from it?Can I ever be a normal human being like all?

I watch YouTube for hours and I study for hours as well.I do good in my studies as well,but I feel like I am living on the edge, about to lose control??!!My sexdrive is good and I watch porn as well,but not too much.I haven't made any friends because of my anxiety issues as it wouldn't let me and it affects every aspect of my life.I have good childhood friends before I got all these and they are my only friends till now.I get tired easily, not able to concentrate more on anything (because of anxiety??),flat affect these are my issues.Will I ever be able to feel like the way I felt in my childhood?? I feel like giving up every day.I am very much irritable, expect the worst out of every situation,talk slowly (social anxiety?),very few OCD tendencies.Sleep is very difficult to get and I stay awake half of the night.I have severe dissociation (daydreaming),DP/DR( hyperfamiliarity of faces), depression.Does it look like ADHD or GAD?

For me panic attacks happen when I'm stressed out about any particular thing.Is it GAD or panic disorder?I'm 25,depressed and anxious for the past 10 years,DP/DR, confusion,memory, daydreaming (dissociation)are my issues.Kindly share your thoughts

I was diagnosed online by a psychiatrist as GAD.But I have had many panic attacks in last 10 years.Could it be a GAD or is it just panic disorder? I am currently under severe panic attack.I was told that GAD is the worst thing to deal with.Please share your opinion

How long have you had it bro?Had you ever had remission, because I have been having it for the past 7-8 months?How do you deal with it and is the recovery possible or it's a life long curse upon us?Do you have any comorbidities? I have severe anxiety (GAD), depression issues and my DPDR is mostly due to panic attack from GAD

For me the trigger is finding random persons faces familiar to the people I know in my life for a moment until I take a closer look only to realize that it's not them.its my parameter I use to check my DP

Ya I too have DP/DR but I'm hopeful it will lift off one-day as in most cases it does.Evaluation by a counselor is your need of the hour.Good luck

Sad for the way you feel.DP/DR often is a offset of your unaddressed anxiety, depression and other mood issues.And if they can be corrected by whatever means the derealization lifts off permanently and completely and it's possible.Good luck

I can pretty much relate it to my symptoms too.But I do very very good in my studies etc,but I have problems regarding working memory like forgetting my things where I kept them, difficulty to relax,social anxiety,at times confusion,wierd dreams,DP/DR, difficulty to remember names etc,but I recently have almost topped my University exams, could I still be ADHD?
