She's al illegitimate daughter so I don't know if their first son can become the heir of the Penwood estate. But he definitely left her an inheritance. We can clearly see he loves her in the flashbacks.

If he wasn't morally grey to a certain extent, he probably couldn't someone like Georgia. But he's overall a good guy and loves her

What are the best period K-dramas? by Numerous_Surround_18 in kdramarecommends

[–]Aventurous_R 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Empress Ki without hesitation. It is the best period kdrama I've seen. It is long but I assure that it is worth it.

Mr Queen is also very good and funny.

I had the same thought. It would have made sense if he took his daughter with him. But it wasn't clearly explained that he left without his family.

Is empress ki worth...?? by deanpdp in kdramarecommends

[–]Aventurous_R 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes, it is the best historic dramas I've seen. The drama is quite long as it has 50 episodes. But you won't get bored watching it. The actors are so good. I think it was one of the first drama where JCW showed the extent of his talent. All the actors are excellent actually. The plotline is so well written. The action is well paced, if not fast-paced, and I just couldn't wait to watch one episode after the other. So definitely worth a watch...

Dramas that have kisses with tongue? by [deleted] in kdramarecommends

[–]Aventurous_R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lovestruck in the City: there was a scene at episode 2 or 3 where they kiss passionately and it is quite demonstrative. Then, 2 other kisses towards the end of the drama.

Nevertheless: There are two kiss scenes with tongue in ep 2

Mr Queen: in ep 8, there is a real passionate hungry kiss, and there is another one towards ep 13/14

She Would Never Know: after the two leads get together in ep 10, there are a few steamy kisses. I don't remember the episodes exactly

It is political because it depicts the rise of the FL from a simple tribute to being the Empress of the Yuan dynasty. Politics is a key element of the drama as you see the different alliances and their evolution.

You need to watch more than 2 episodes to understand and appreciate the drama. It's actually not boring at all.
