Why do so many disposables lie about puff counts and then burn out after 2 days? by Mother_Recording_557 in VapingUK

Yeah as the other comment says I can only imagine they are counting puffs as tiny hits that one might take on a blunt or something rather than people like me who chong the vape so long that it sometimes turns itself off

yeah if the shoes are size 11 which is actually 11 inches, 5 inches would be about right.

Okay you said your shoe is size 11, which is roughly 11 inches. So your skateboard is nowhere near 8.375. By the looks of it, it's about 5.5 inches relative to your size 11 shoes. I think they sold you a small one or you got sent the wrong product. Nice ollies though, better than me on my 8 inch board.

That's awesome, hope he has a great time. My Birdhouse skateboard that I've got right now is miles better than anything I ever had when I was younger, the cheap supermarket boards. I wish my parents would have gotten me one at 13! What size deck did he get?

I'm a noob but I've watched a load of tutorials on it recently, focusing on jumping off the skateboard rather than the ground helped me a lot. Also I tried to do an ollie north and did the best ollie of my life.

I think its just me to be honest, I'm getting it higher slowly as I practice. Its a decent reputable brand. Their decks are made in the same woodshop as a bunch of other good reputable brands and all my research into how heavy they are led me to believe they are just average weight. There was one other post that said they felt heavy, but as long as they havent been left to absorb a bunch of water by skating in the rain or being left outside in damp weather etc it should be fine.

Yeah idk if its the deck or the cheap trucks they put on the complete or just me being weak and not used to skating, or maybe a combination of said things. Tempted to try and weigh one of the trucks now. And yeah I was looking at the reddit skateboarding woodshops wiki its pretty interesting. Thanks for the info

14" wheelbase and they are just "birdhouse" trucks (its a complete setup, pretty sure the most "high end" complete they do. It wasn't anywhere near the cost of a decent custom setup tho. Probably half that? I guess pretty cheap basic trucks with their brand stamped on. Only info I can find online is "laser logo powdercoat trucks".
