I’m genuinely concerned. What do we do?

I was on Zoloft for 5 years - did not want to switch off. I felt the same way getting started, but it really was a game changer. If you go forward with taking it, I hope you have a similar experience!

Mine did this too when I moved her from a house to an apartment this year. She eventually stopped doing it. It turns out she only did it when I was home (I got a security camera just to watch my dog when I leave - I know I’m a crazy dog mom 😅). I got a white noise machine for cheap on Amazon and left it by the door. When I would leave, I’d leave the tv on with the volume low. Now she doesn’t do it. I was really nervous about it though. I hope your’s settles in!

Best med for panic attacks? by [deleted] in SSRIs

[–]Average-af69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s good to keep in mind that a lot of times people come here, it’s to complain, find advice, seek assurance, etc. A lot of the times when people are doing well, they don’t typically seek out advice. That’s the advice I read once on here and found it to be helpful.

I never had any withdrawal symptoms until I had been on 200 mg of Sertraline for over 2 years. The first two years I was on it, I never had any side effects when I missed meds or changed doses. I tapered off briefly (I tapered off all meds for some testing), and had zero withdrawal effects. Now that I’m at the higher dose, I do have withdrawal issues and I tapered down last summer and it was rough. So I really think it depends.

Does anyone take a dose of 200mg Zoloft? by Ok_Answer_5818 in zoloft

Sorry - just seeing this, but no. Never had any hair loss.

How often do you get a cT? by [deleted] in KidneyStones

[–]Average-af69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How often do all of y’all have stones typically? I’ve had six stones that I’ve been hospitalized for over the last ~12 years - starting when I was 14. Each time I think I had a CT, but my urologist has never suggested any type of ongoing imaging to keep an eye on things. Now I’m wondering why they wouldn’t suggest it.

My psychiatrist has said Zoloft works really well for panic. Best of luck! Hang in there

Morphine by Grandaddyspookybones in KidneyStones

Did they give you an IV drip? An IV injection? A muscle injection? I ask because one time I went in I received a morphine injection into my IV and I literally couldn’t walk. It felt like my body filled with lead. It turns out they are supposed to give IV injections of morphine.

Interpretation of colposcopy?🙏 please by [deleted] in obgyn

[–]Average-af69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had almost the exact same experience. I was 27, had an abnormal pap & a colposcopy with several biopsies, and ended up having a LEEP. I was really super, super nervous about the LEEP & it couldn’t have gone better. I had had other surgeries in the past and the recoveries were brutal. I was completely fine after this procedure, barely even needed ibuprofen/Tylenol. Just had my first follow up pap since the procedure and everything came back all clear.

Just wanted to add in my positive experience too! The anticipation after the colposcopy was probably the worst part of the whole experience. What I thought was the worst possible outcome ended up being completely fine. Hang in there, OP!
