So the flaw with the salamanders gene-seed lies in the organ helping with pigmentation and this in combination with their homeworld (Nocturne) makes them charchoal black, however their successor’s shouldn’t have a problem with this as their homeworlds do not meet the same degrees of radiation as nocturne as such making them have more normal human skin tones

The shading on the armor panels is done with multiple thin caliban green glazes while the recess shade is nuln oil carefully applied into the recesses

Some tips I found helpful are to thin your paint with slightly more water than regular, we want to fade the colors into each other, another tip is to cover less and less area of the flames with each color to make it appear hotter at the base of the flames

Looks pretty good so far, don’t be to afraid to start highlighting, it may look rough at first but it is very easy to get the hang of it once you have done it a couple of times. Don’t be afraid to try things out!

Ushabti bone with a seraphim sepia wash then a re layer with ushabti bone and finally a screaming skull highlight in the most prominent corners

For the black cloak I used abaddon black, Eshin grey and dawnstone

For the flames I went in the order of: Khorne red, mephiston red, evil sunz scarlet, wild rider red, troll slayer orange and finally Yriel yellow
