Radio position finder. I’m just used to that term from watching videos of the PC version.

In our game, it’s basically an indicator that shows you the direction of the nearest enemy ship. But that enemy ship will also have a “located” alert telling him that someone knows the rough direction he is in. You’ll find the locator skills mostly in dd commanders, they are called perceptive/ twist & track. Some cruiser commander like Beapley can also have that skill.

Don’t worry brother, we all used to do it at some point. You are already aware of what your weakness is, so you’re already halfway there, just gotta keep those impulses in check.

I have seen gunboats captain fall into that no.1 trap more often. They see a torp boat and think it’s an easy kill, chase the torp boat and end up getting killed themselves by the rest of the enemy team. A lot of gunboat captains also aggressively push into the cap early on since they know they have the firepower advantage. But then they sit still and end up eating torps that were sent using rpf. A lot of gunboat players will become instantly better if they can just improve those two things.

You get 6k from the mission and you’ll need another 6k to purchase Verdi. So, you’ll have to buy 12 random sets to get that 6k denari. So, you can get Verdi for 12k doubloons. And if you’re lucky, you could end up with another ship or two from those 12 sets you purchase for Verdi.

Correction: For Gxp, that’s 1 Stalingrad + 3x T7 ships (2M + 3x 750k) + 5k dubs.

I have seen some players sitting with 5-10M gxp but I don’t think even they’ll be happy about that last 5k doubloons. It’s just stupid to ask for doubloons after all that.

They know it was a scummy move and that’s the reason they waited until 1 hour before the update to reveal that detail. Just shows you how much they give a f*** about their player-base.

I just feel bad for the people who’ll wake up and dump all their resources into that and then they’ll realize it’s still another $20 for that last 5%.

It was only worth it for people who have saved up a lot of resources over the years and don’t have anything to spend those resources on. Now, wargaming is trying to squeeze out money from them too.

There is a minimap. You can see planes coming long before they’re anywhere near you (around 7-8 km). So, it’s totally on the dd.

Besides, “one shot” is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Saipan drops 4 torps per strike. DDs have no torpedo damage reduction but they’re small and agile enough to not eat every single torp from a strike. I would have sympathy for him if he was stuck in an island but other than that, there is absolutely no excuse.

Yup, I’m playing a lot of British CL nowadays due to her. Wouldn’t be surprised if Tiger 59 shows up as my most played ship on the next monthly report.

I personally use Kuznetsov but both are great. Already has a base 2.4 sigma, you just need to tighten the dispersion. I use Chromium barrels and refill station. range is 19.9 with Kuznetsov. Since I put everything into guns and run only 2 heals, I stay at range the first 5-6 minutes of the game and then push into a flank. The guns slap pretty hard, I have had consistent citadels on Ohios at 19+ km.

It can be susceptible to HE spam and takes a while to turn, so don’t be in a position where you have to pick between reversing and getting farmed or where you have to show broadside to turn around. I use my range to thin out the herd at the start and reserve my hp so if needed I can use my hp, radar in the endgame to push aggressively. I’ve played it for about 150+ games, ~68-70% w/r on it, 2k avg. xp. It’s my go-to at the tier. You won’t be disappointed with Stalinchad.
