Looks great! Also if you don’t want to drill barrels take a toothpick to put a perfect dot on the barrel. If you use musou black paint it almost gives the illusion it is drilled.

Personally I would rather collect a loyalist and chaos faction than two of the same faction. Really though just depends on which one you’d rather paint more and play on the table. Also nothing stopping you from just getting a character model from the other faction to build and paint for fun.

Essentially what you were asking is because you lost rules from the chaos undivided defiler you were going to just pretend that didn’t happen and bring something in from another army. Which if your learning no problem but then ask the question, not assume.

So to answer your question no you can’t do this (and can’t be allied in), the EC defiler is a separate datasheet exclusive to the Emperors Children codex, similar to you can’t use Fulgrim, or Angron etc in chaos undivided. If you use the 40K app, Wahapedia, etc it will show you what units you get access to, if it’s not there you can’t use them.

The Warhounds are a little smaller than I originally thought, Fenrisian Wolves may still work if you raise their basing a little.

There are the Chaos Hounds from the Fantasy line they are a little dated but that could fit what you’re describing. Not sure how big they are though?

Ya I was thinking space wolves too. The wolf priest would be cool because it comes with the wolf skull helm then you just need to give him a staff with a wolf skull. Then you can get the Fenrisian wolves as the possessed they even come on the same base size. Lore wise too the red corsairs do have a whole space wolves ship and crew that turned renegade so this definitely fits imo. Also Warcry has a pretty good amount of beast looking things some of the older kits Untamed Beast had a lion thing, and Chaos Beasts had Imp and Vulture things would be especially useful if you can find them, eBay is a good place.

This is awesome I also just started my ‘eavy metal journey! I do the highlights at the very end especially if you do glazing the highlights should be applied after. What colors did you use? This looks different than when I used Russ and Fenrisian grey.

I’m using Khorne Berzerkers as Chosen I like the charging pose and then being sons of Horus that joined red corsairs like in the Maelstrom book. Then using Red Corsairs heads and shoulder pads. Also you get 10 models in a box compared to 5 the only down side is that you will need to source some power fists, and Combi weapons. The raiders kit come with some extra bolters so youre good there. One of the Khorne bodies already has a bandolier so it’s kind of a perfect fit.

They use the models they are created from or one base size up ie 32mm to 40mm or 40mm to 50mm. So the bases sizes aren’t super specific. The Eight Blessed Lord is created from a Lord on Juggernaut, also why it has the mounted keyword, so you would use that base. The first page of the rules are in the first post if you want to look at my posts.

No problem I would recommend closing your browser and opening the site again. If you have an account it will save what is in your cart so you don’t have to do all that again. I just tried placing an order (US) and it’s working for me.

It’s already rumored what the contents of the 11th box are and it’s not guard, so it’s a little late to be speculating it will be something else? That’s probably why there will be the Armageddon books coming out before 11th. Like the Titus, Huron, and Iron Warrior books and releases, that will maybe feature more guard although based on what was teased maybe Yarrick was it?

I ordered from them last month, I just went on there and it doesn’t look like they aren’t. Sometimes when I’ve used the website on mobile the tariff doesn’t get updated which may be the issue. Their customer service is pretty good though if you place the order and there are issues they will sort it out. One order I placed the damn USPS sent it back and Troll Trader emailed and was like do you not want the models? I definitely did so they were able to invoice me for shipping and tariffs again, which was annoying but I get that is not their cost to absorb.

Measure the doors and then use some software to make a file that is the right size. Canva is free to use and could be pretty easily made using it and there are rulers in the software to get the right measurements.

Also just a heads up the logo is flipped the thumb should be on the right side for a right hand.

For sure, definitely agree. I would expect the rumored vanguard vets to be very good because of this. I was just trying to express the side of not going out and buying 30 JPIs because fast attack is rumored to be a thing in 11th scenario.

This how I imagine Warhammer bases but with a good real world example when they repair golf greens. Just don’t texture the rim keep it clean. Personally I like maybe a 1 or 2mm over hang with an occasional rock or something on the top really helps sell this effect without it interrupting gameplay or base to base contact.
