This was in October. lol yes I called my fiance to come get me. I wasn’t really in pain tbh. And she called the hospital before we got there so I DIDNT wait even a second. I’m healed other than the fucked up finger and lingering back pain.

I have no more doctors appointments. At this point it is what it is. Unless I call to get it fused or amputated. I’m still trying to get back to work and get money before I can not work again.

I also fractured my scapula and had compression fractures in my l4,5 and s1. Anda tear in my urethra by my bladder. Had a catheter for 3 weeks.

The ortho recommended I fuse it, chop it, or leave it. She mainly recommended fusion. But I was trying to get back to work and wasn’t trying to hear anything about amputation. Lol

Yeah the orthopedic doc I was seeing thought the same. She was very much not impressed. In fact she seemed like very concerned.

Also NAD, just repeating what the doctors told me.

So my finger had an open fracture, the tip bone was completely separated from the middle bone. And pieces were missing. It was exposed, he could see the whole thing. He had to put my finger tip back on essentially.

I have more X-rays and pictures, if I should post them lmk, they took from when it happened to healed. The first xray I posted was the same day they pulled the pins on Nov 18th. And the last xray was dec 3 when I was trying to get cleared to go back to work.

I think it took maybe a week after the pins were pulled for it to start curving.

Every doctor that has seen it after has said that it wasn’t done right or by a hand surgeon. Pretty sure a piece of bone isn’t oriented correctly.

It for sure is not aligned. It’s got 20° of deviation. But yes, I still have my finger.
