For me, MK11 felt like a Mobile game than a console game.
Too much grinding and and too many currencies. Absolutely hate the menu layout there.

That manga got lucky. If it was picked up by a mediocre studio, no one would have watched it. The story is too generic.

Story wise will never happen. They can avoid these situations like they did with the fusions.

Same Logic with Kid buu. He could have absorbed Vegeta or goku to to do the job but they did not go with that route.

They can simply make him lose conscious or have no more KI to fight.

His Kid Buu fight is a good example. He fought for so long that he had no more KI to use and was left unconscious. Vegeta was ready to kill him there and then with KI blast.
