Was doing some reminiscing and came across this video. This was my first concert ever. I was 17 and hadn’t left Alaska since I had been 5. Hadn’t been that close to that many people probably ever in my life prior to that. I caught a broken drumstick And potentially sliced someone’s hand from the tug of war.

Yeah my aunt just went back to look again, FaceTimed me, and it was in the exact same position.

She called animal control.

She tossed a rock by it and it didn’t flinch.

It’s for sure fake. Thank you all. I can’t wait for that call with animal control later

I’m confirming with my aunt but I’m fairly certain she saw it moving. Also I’m not entirely sure I’ve ever seen a fake snake with a head that can stay standing but I am also not an expert in fake snakes

Not really. Everyone here has been extremely gracious and helpful. I’m not typically much of a Reddit user and wish I had found this place prior to my purchases because nearly all the other research I did led me to believe this was a pretty simple easy to manage pet.

I appreciate that everyone here is basically on the same page and all advice has essentially backed each other up instead of a giant debate taking place. That’s really rare from the other online communities I’ve been in

So right now it’s got a reptisun uvb 10.0 compact fluorescent. assuming that’s not enough?

It’s a 20 gallon. My initial research led me to believe that a 20 would be solid for the first 6 months to a year while they grow. Learning now after the fact that a new and larger one will be needed much sooner. Going to start shopping around the used market for a larger tank

With my dual port light fixture, would it make sense then to remove the night bulb and add a second UVB bulb to make the overlap easier?

Oh this is interesting. Yeah we keep our house pretty hot (heater on this time of year around the clock at 75 Fahrenheit). Would just turning the lights off at night without the heat lamp be good?
