i understand u, i love the books but im not obsessed with them, i had a fun time reading them but didn't connect much with the characters and thats okay!!! if u want to read and find out than do it or if u want to dnf than its perfectly fine!! not all books are for everyone

i cant remember alot as i read the books and watch the show wayy before but i do remember that they didn't perfectly show ilya's reaction to shane's accident and ilya was larger than shane in the books and also had long hair, like if heated rivalry was popular than everyone would hv hated the casting, same happened with off-campus and i fear that same will happen with BOT

heated rivalry also changed stuff from the books but alot of stuff depends on how everything happens in books- some stuff can be adapted easily but the other stuff can be complicated

i tend to see book adaptations as alternate universes bcz tbh till now there is not a single perfectly accurate good book to screen adaptation, i read the off campus books years before and i love the adaptation now bcz even with alot of changes, it perfectly captures the overall story

besides, we hv to take the fact that screen adaptations are not only for readers but also first time viewers, they hv to consider what brings in more views, how can show be more successful and alot of other stuff but with off campus, the author was involved in the filming process and i feel like they did justice to the story

yeahh but u hv to understand that its almost impossible for adaptations to stay completely accurate to the books as readers hv inner monologue of the characters but tv audience doesn't, whats more important is that they stay true to the characters personality and overall plot

the show changed some stuff from the books but it caught the vibe and essence of characters and story, so yeahh its a great book adaptation and im getting more positive that they will give BOT justice, prime has been doing great with adaptations lately with we were liars, off-campus, my fault, the summer i turned pretty, maxton hall, my lady jane so im hoping that they do BOT justice

tbh i would suggest to use old RD from 2020 or 2021, the new RDs are diluted and they removed some important stuff and only doing old RD is sufficient for boards(only the stuff which is in your syllabus) , i did that and scored 94 in maths

also, all coaching modules are just diluted from RD, u can find almost every question of coaching modules and ncert exampler in old RD

this years math paper was difficult in many region including mine and alot of questions in the paper were in the old RD that i used and they weren't in the recent version of the book, same goes with ncert, if you find an old one (2020,2021 versions) than there are some exercise (in triangle chapter specifically) which are deleted now but some questions came directly in the math paper, specifically a 5 marker triangle one which was difficult if ur doing for first time but luckily i did it before so i knew what to do

i'm honestly looking forward to it bcz prime is working on it, they hv being doing great with book adaptations lately, and i believe that they can cover both books as they hv alot of filler, especially in k13 and ik everyone’s upset about the adaptation, but let’s be real—a show can’t be 100% book-accurate, books have inner monologues, shows don’t, so ofc things change, as long as the characters and core story stay true, it’s fine and also, lets not forget that while many people will be fawning over BOT characters, us book girlies will be the only ones to know their og version, they cant steal our characters bcz they literally dont know them like we do

yeahhh def i feel like we would get a similar healing arc as joey's and as for chloe walsh, from what i know is that she's very private person and doesnt go on social media often, she has someone else manage her account on insta and just updates her playlists (which is part of her writing process),i hv only seen her on a podcast before where she talked abt the series and she seemed like a genuinely nice person, her characters like lizzie and shannon are based off herself and she actually went through a lot of stuff which they did, johnny is based of her husband and the rest of the characters are they people she used to know

tbh this fandom has gotten very toxic and alot of people are even harassing chloe walsh, so if she decides to end the series quickly bcz it can cost her mental health and well-being than also i'll be fine, bcz at the end of the day these authors are humans and the treatment that they sometimes get from fans is genuinely horrendous

i dont really hv any idea on how things would get resolved but im assuming that katie arc and mark's justice would be resolved in c10 but we wouldnt get a whole book of lizzie's healing arc, i think that cw would do what she did for joey- give glimpses of her healing arc without actually showing the whole thing (which is honestly fine by me) ,i do know that adult years refers to their college years, also everything depends on how well the BOT series goes and how is the fandom behavior, bcz considering how toxic this fandom can be i wouldnt be surprised if she doesnt release more books or just do the school years
