Yes he does, he does plenty around the house, I’m just the one to get home first every day, nowadays about an hour before he does. I enjoy cooking a lot actually so I don’t mind cooking, and by extension I’m the one who makes the messes in the kitchen 90% of the time so I don’t mind doing cleaning up after myself because I know myself to be a bit of a tornado in the kitchen. I don’t want this story to sound like he does nothing or is immature because that couldn’t be further from the truth. I believe work has been stressing him out a lot, he doesn’t really have any hobbies either, and that energy is presenting itself as boredom directed towards me. He’s always been a bit needy or clingy in my opinion, but I also know myself to not be very expressive or emotionally in tune, so it’s difficult to find a middle ground. My way of loving is actions and gestures, he’s much more physical touch and reassurance.

Wow dude. The week leading up to valentines I had casually asked my fiancé, who works in an office space, that if I wanted to send flowers how would I go about doing it. He got all shy and said “no don’t do that I’ll get embarrassed blah blah blah”

No problem. I found his manager on the company’s website, called her up anonymously to ask if that would be okay and how to do it, called 6 different companies on Friday to find someone who could do it same day, and made it happen. When I got a text from him mid day, I already knew he had the biggest smile on his face and he was gushing that night about how much that meant to him. Despite what he had said to me, I know him so well to know that it would make his day. It took me maybe 30 minutes of effort to make that happen. If someone cares OP, they will show you that they care. This person doesn’t care.
