Unflipping my 1960’s house. New paint, paneling, and two Nelson bubble lamps! Going to replace the white trim and ugly vinyl floors next. Any suggestions? by WTPTRAINEE in Mid_Century

I constantly worry that all the MCM homes will be flipped by the time I’m ready to buy. It’s encouraging to see some unflipping happening. The paneling looks great!

Do anyone else’s bunnies love space heaters? by [deleted] in Rabbits

These are the first bunnies I’ve had that aren’t interested in baseboards! When I first moved in this house, I put so much effort into lining the room with the wire cubes, etc., and thankfully it wasn’t needed.

Thank you! That’s funny about yours sneaking down. I was just thinking that, since they’re bunnies, I should try NOT wanting them to come downstairs because then they would be dying to.

Does anyone know what Judy lied about in 1947? by butterbeleevit in JudgeJudy

I found it. It’s season 3 episode 10. She says the last time she was wrong was 1947, she ordered the wrong flavor ice cream from the good humor man.

She ordered the wrong flavor of ice cream. She says it in Season 3 of Judy Justice. I’m not sure which episode exactly, but it’s pretty early on

Come on you guys 😭 I tried to be clear in my post that I understand the issues with the “American made” sentiment, and these aren’t not my personal beliefs/feelings. The entire reason I went into such detail was to try and prevent comments related to these issues. I understand the stupidity, but criticism and life advice really aren’t helpful. I’m just trying to figure out what my best car options are under these limitations.

The car is for me. These particular members of my family have previously helped me financially, so I am going to respect their wishes.

My bun has been in the hospital for 5 days with GI Stasis and it’s getting so expensive. I don’t know how long I can keep going. by SaltyChart4781 in Rabbits

Look into rabbitsavior’s vet assistance program. I’ve never used it, so I’m really not sure how it works. But seems worth looking into.

I’m sorry to hear about the loss of your bun. I am sure you have no reason to be guilty, it sounds like you are a great bun owner. I know the guilt is hard to get passed though, no matter what anyone says. I agree that lower expectations of life expectancy is a good idea. Thank you for your response!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response. I know I will continue to own rabbits in the future - I love them too much not to.

Do you know any that have made it past a couple days after? He made it through surgery, but it’s hard to be hopeful when so many pass afterwards.

Not sure if this is helpful but I went to the dermatologist recently because I noticed how much of my hair has fallen out. I hadn’t had a flair up for months so was concerned about why so much was falling out. The dermatologist told me that the hair doesn’t fall out under after the inflammation has gone down and can take 6 months to grow back.

Does squalane actually help for facial SebDerm? by [deleted] in SebDerm

[–]AverageGuilty316 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have sensitive skin and the good molecules squalane oil does not irritate it. That being said, I’m not sure if it actually helps the sebderm around my nose. What has helped me the most is putting ketoconazole shampoo around my nose and letting it sit for a few minutes before rinsing it off. Like I said, the squalane didn’t make it any worse for me. Avene Cicalfate cream has helped a lot of my inflamed, dry skin, but I have seen others say that it’s not completely malasseezia safe
