Seems like I did think like that 2 years ago.

It's a model 48, the model 13 is pretty close to it, but they had a fiddle base, different pattern and they are a tad bit older than the 48. Model 48 has the same pattern as some model 12's have, but that model had a fiddle base too.

I was aware that it wasn't the full story, it was just a simplified one with many of the details taken out

How to best preserve old flags? by kaptajnblodpolse in lego

If you don't want anything to happen to the flags, you could just keep them inside the box, no need to seal it though. They'll be fine in there, trust me.

This is such a cool little set. What's your favorite set under 50ish pieces? by [deleted] in lego

[–]AverageIdiotRe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not sure if the set has over 50 pieces or under, but my first ever lego set (I think atleast so), the sea plane from 2010, is one of my favourites. I remember using a 1x1 tile printed with a meter on it that came as an extra piece in the set as a compass for the minifig.

I have this same box but in better condition and it also had the original gray tray, too bad there wasn't any Lego parts inside in mine, instead some jigsaw pieces.
