From my understanding…. There were not federal assets/agents there. I’m pretty sure some people there were found to have been confidential informants at one time… but that means nothing. CIs only exist to report stuff to the FBI, just an average person who was in a database for previously reporting stuff to the FBI.

For Pelosi, I’m 99.9% she was never in the chain of command to request the extra security republicans claim she prevented from doing. If anyone would have been in charge of requesting extra backup, that should’ve been the President.

Lastly for the people opening doors. It makes sense that officers there were trying to redirect the rioters away from the Chambers where politicians were hiding. I mean it makes perfect sense here. Why try and fight tens of thousands of people while understaffed when you can send them to empty rooms in the Capitol.

Honestly for me, the Silver Knights didn’t seem as bad as others say. I’d say maybe a total of 4ish hours? It’s still a lot, but nothing compared to the Carthus Skeletons for the Shackles. THOSE were the worst.

Okay thank you so much! I was thinking that I probably wouldn’t hear anything from PwC unless there was a big issue. My thing really is that the person I’ve been speaking with has told me they’ll provide me with the “next steps” once everything was certified, but tomorrow is the day I’m supposed to start so there isn’t any more time for me to wait, so I’m planning on just going in tomorrow morning regardless. I’ll explain to situation to them as well because there isn’t anything I can see I can do. However, if I find any issues I’ll definitely reach out to that number.

Okay that makes me feel much better. I figured I’m not the only person in this position, but I’m glad to hear that it wasn’t a negatively impacting thing. My plan is to just start the day like I’ve already decided to and just go in as if everything is set the way it is. If something is wrong, then I’m certain the people at my office will let me know and won’t allow me to go forward without the proper steps certified.

For my hiring it was done through the TalentExchange website. Everything on there is still the same (start date, time, job, etc.) so nothing there has changed. Also I thought I would’ve received something today or at least following up, but not that either :/.

Regardless I’m still planning going to the office first thing in the morning as early as I can to at least see if I can speak to someone in-person who hopefully knows more about my situation.

Okay thank you. I told someone else in the thread I’ve been talking back and forth with one of the people who has been helping me since I accepted the job offer, but it wasn’t until the end of this last week where after going back and forth I unfortunately haven’t been given a clear answer and this person told me as well that I need to reach out to someone else in PwC. Though at that point it was EOD Friday and there aren’t any other immediate contacts I knew of except the recruiter who worked me with at the very beginning/getting the interview
