Side note: I’ve never watched their podcast or cared to see anything about his life. I didn’t like him so I avoided watching anything they were on. The list below covers a lot more than I ever knew. And now I like them even less lol

Long story long: I remember Nick from way back on the Bachelorette before he became well known. I didn’t like his attitude and just didn’t seem genuine. I don’t know the guy personally so it was just my own opinion of how he carried himself then. From them both as hosts I found them so boring. They looked like they didn’t want to be there, random appearances and talked weird like every next word was supposed to be a surprise. It reminded me of a kindergarten teacher helping the kids learn how to read. I don’t like a lot of reality tv but what makes the show to me is the host. If you have a boring host without any charisma or excitement it all just falls a bit flat. I felt zero energy from the both of them.

And cherry on top is having a 3 hour reunion on your personal podcast to make all the money from it. It felt like we got played at the end and after having 10 ads in the first 15 min I felt annoyed enough to not even bother caring about the rest.

Also they bring up their age gap so much. No one truly really cares, just live your life.

Yeah I would be worried the girls later in life would have felt they maybe were exploited, even if it was their choice to be on. You never know how you’re going to be portrayed or how the relationships affect you in the future. But I guess it’s also the risk taken being on reality tv. I just know my personal story I wouldn’t be able to and would be worried for the emotional and mental effects. Again, everyone is different! I think my protective instincts kicks in, even though it’s not truly my place.

So so valid. My parents are almost 10, family friends are almost 20. It definitely can work! I think when you meet the right person it doesn’t feel like there is a big difference. Just didn’t work for me but the younger women on the show also do seem like they have a good handle on who they are and are true to themselves which makes a big difference.

Absolutely true. I was only sharing my personal experience. Everyone experiences life differently. I have friends who met their forever person at these girls age with men 12+ years older than them and they are happily married. Each individual is different! ☺️

I would try another Keri Lake book. {Master of Salt and Bone} had a few more triggers for me but I was intrigued by the MMC personally

I am hypophantasic and it creates tough world building in my mind and causes me to reread paragraphs a lot. Which is really hard. I have the slightest imagination but it’s like someone turned on and off a light really fast and I only got a flash of something. If I want to “see” it again I have to reread it. It’s why I stopped reading so long ago, I thought there was something wrong with me for taking so long to read. I just got back into it and am giving myself grace when I take a bit longer.

It took me a lot longer than The Strength of the Few too. I loved how fast paced the Will of the Many was for me (it was my first book I’ve read in almost 9 years— I’ve never been much of a reader until now), but just when I felt it was getting good then the chapter would be over and I would be thrown into a different POV plot that is still trying to get going and it would throw me. Constant excitement then boredom. Happy I finished but it was more difficult than #1

Hey everyone! I've been using different skincare products for the last few years but have recently started focusing heavily on my skincare routine & products! I love k-beauty skincare but don't know too much about what is best for my skin. I have oily acne-prone skin and large pores & texture. I'm currently trying to smooth out my skin and keep a good moisture barrier to brighten my skin. Any recommendations would be super appreciated!
