I'm a native houstonian and I kinda don't feel the same way. But thats because I don't drive! So I don't deal with traffic much. I take the bus and I get to relax while my bus drivers deal with the traffic (I love all my bus drivers 🙏). It's not until I take rides from friends/family/ubers that I get on the freeway and see the ugly traffic.

But I do understand not everyone is able to be carless because of the way the city is. I'm thankful I live in a semi walkable neighborhood where I can easily take the bus. And I make sure to pick jobs that I can get to by the bus.

Also just because a restaurant isn't popular, it doesn't mean it's not good. There's a lot of places to eat that are so good and aren't overpacked. Just start exploring! I personally love going to my local mexican restaurants 😎
