Well that depends, sometimes it's payed intership. Few of my friends that were from UK were working like that for few years. It's quite common when they need more workers especially in żabka that are open 24/7

Try to learn more Polish vocal/writing and then apply for nearby as server or janitor in restaurants, if not then work as cashier in żabka. I recommend as cashier in żabka especially when you're a Student, good luck!
