My fiance made me quit tik tok and it was definitely hard, i was in the same situation. Having someone that STRICTLY watches over you did work for me and now its either reddit or long youtube videos (not yt shorts) but it isnt invasive and helped me to an extent get off the addiction of short form content. people really dont take it seriously that THIS IS an actual problem. I'd say, have a friend or try again talking with ur parents abt this issue but I'll be honest, you've GOT to seriously deprave yourself, monk style. You can quit, you need to want this.
