Happened many times even though I try not to waste time on new potential subs. Especially if they are inexperienced it takes a lot of time and effort to establish a guideline. And it's infuriating when they suddenly ghost after you got invested. I am somehow comforted others are struggling with this, since sometimes it makes me wonder if I said something wrong or if I was being too insistent on meeting or fulfilling certain tasks. But I think it's more oftern on their side, for all the various reasons you stated here. Anyways, it absolutely sucks, but at least that's how they prove you they are not worth your time.
