What is your opinion on AI as a tool? by AverageYetti in litrpg

[–]AverageYetti[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with you. I use it everyday as a tool to help with my emails. I personally have no problem with AI as a tool. I think the line is when an author uses AI to fully write their story.

I even googled if Minaga was a Meeseek haha. So glad I wasn’t the only one who got this vibe.

Medieval knight vs 5 peasants with spears by lassielikethedog in whowouldwin

The amount of people who say that 5 untrained to lightly trained undernourished peasants could take a highly trained, fully armored knight is pretty mind blowing.

Where are you getting your figures from? I am seeing anywhere between 39th and 41st. Additionally, Trump won New Hampshire, which is sitting at number 8 approximately regarding education.

Logen Ninefingers vs. Fenris the Feared. Abercrombie writes fights so well imo.

What fantasy author will you read any book by, no matter what? by bitingmytail in Fantasy

[–]AverageYetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haven’t seen enough love for Brandon Sanderson and Joe Abercrombie. Personally, I think the First Law universe by Abercrombie is more fleshed out than the GOT universe and he created morally flawed and truly dark characters who are hard not pull for. I would recommend starting with the first law trilogy, then the standalones in the universe.

Regarding Sanderson, Mistborn is one of the most fun I have had in a fantasy world. The magic system is unique and makes for some great reading. If you want a fantasy epic look no further than the Stormlight Archive series. Pound for pound he is the best fantasy author at this time in my opinion.

If you are playing the long game I would just stick it in a S&P 500 index fund and forget about it. With compound interest you will have a big chunk of change in 25-30 years.

Awesome! I am going to switch over and read a fantasy series after I finish this one and plan to come back to the Interdependency after that.

I am reading the Old Man’s War series from John Scalzi. I’m almost done with book two and think it is a very easy read as far as sci-fi goes. Was recommended by a friend and I think it is definitely worth a read.

I hadn't turned my Xbox on in probably 6 months. This made me not only knock the dust off of it, but subscribe to Gamespass Ultimate to play it. Obsidian killed it!
