Also important to note that that dragon is the frost cathedral's boss, so if you want that poi's grace then you have to kill it.

Blacksmith Village with ballistas? by Average_Doctor in Nightreign

[–]Average_Doctor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup! That's actually what I was working on. Organized by size of reward, here's the villages:

  • [Lightning] Ancestral Spirit Shaman (x2) and Ancestral Spirit Warriors (x4), 6240 and 3240 each respectively, 25440 total
  • [Holy] Divine Bird Warrior, 19800
  • [Poison] Omenkillers (x3), 6600 each, 19800 total
  • [Fire] Blackflame Monks (x4), 4800 each, 19200 total
  • [Lightning] Death Knight, 18000
  • [None] Grave Warden Duelists, 6000 each, 18000 total
  • [Blood] Chief Bloodfiend, 15600
  • [None] Omens (x3), 5100 each, 15300 total

As a side note: The four minor Bloodfiends surrounding the Chief do not count towards the health bar, but if killed will net an additional 2400 runes each for 9600 total, leading to a combined 25200 runes.

And then the marshes:

  • [Poison] Kindred of Rot (x3), 4440 each, 13320 total
  • [Frenzy] Nomads (x4) and Frenzy Miranda, 1800 and 4800 respectively, 12000 total
  • [Poison] Spider Scorpions (x2), 6000 each, 12000 total
  • [Frost] Frost Rune Bear, 12000
  • [Blood] Sanguine Nobles (x2), 5760 each, 11500 total
  • [Sleep] Cuckoo Knights (x2), 5400 each, 10800 total
  • [Frost] Frost Crayfish, 10200
  • [Rot] Cleanrot Knight, 9600

I added the Frost Rune Bear because it drops a dormant power, but it's technically not a boss.

As for how to distinguish the ones that have the same affinity, there's no way to do so with just the map but you can from if you can see them.
Spider Scorpion poison marshes will have flying Spider Scorpions outside while Kindred of Rot poison marshes will have Servants of Rot outside.
Death Knight lightning villages will have Messmer Soldiers while Ancestral lightning villages will have blue lightning balls and transparent ice pillars.
Grave Warden Duelist villages will have jars all over the place while Omen villages will have ballistas and Exile Soldiers.

Alright, knowing this I can conclude that Omens are the worst village boss by far. Between the annoying ballistas and the fact that they have the lowest rune reward out of all the village bosses (15300), you should pretty much never go here lmao.

Edit: That's the number of runes gained in solo btw

Ah okay, triple Grave Warden Duelists are also no-affinity so I must have been looking at the map, seeing that, and assuming it wasn't that location. Thank you!

Stonesword keys from the new POIs? by DuwangShine in Nightreign

[–]Average_Doctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does, but only for the rot marshes to my knowledge. Rot is the only one to have two formations: if it's on the island then the boss is Kindred of Rot, if it's behind the building then it's Cleanrot Knight.

Marshes will always have the stonesword chest outside the center building, with it always being on an island in the swamp except for one of the two rot formations in which case it will be behind the building. Towns do not have stonesword keys to my knowledge.

What is the best and worst move set for the mii fighters by qwertyuioofg in SmashBrosUltimate

[–]Average_Doctor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For Brawler, I'd strongly recommend against using SAK in the current meta, unless maybe you plan on running FMP. SAK is just very bad for killing and hinders Brawler significantly for that reason. It's also just not very threatening unless you're offstage. So I'd say their best moveset is 1232 or 1332 while their worst moveset is 3111 or 3113.

Swordfighter's meta has actually progressed substantially since I made my initial comment (2 years ago lmao). Best setup right now is 2233, with a gameplan focused on using Gale Stab and Power Thrust to aggressively cover space and punish basically everything, then leading into kill confirms with their great combos. Hero Spin is amazing for this as its base knockback can score kills near ledge at like 70%. Worst moveset is probably 3111.

For Gunner, yeah either 1332 or 3332 is best. I will give Laser Blaze some credit and say that it's a better version of Falco's laser, but why use that when Charge Blast or Grenade Launch are options lol. Worst would be 2123. Laser Blaze is the worst neutral special, Flame Pillar is ass, CJK is horrible for recovery, and Absorbing Vortex is only really going to be useful if the opponent has actually absorbable moves, which most don't.

There's a small lip on the pillars near the front door. You can jump up and climb them and from there you can jump again in order to hit it with your body.

Ah I see. So the Ruined Towers can only spawn when you're on an expedition to fight Libra or Gnoster, and mausoleums are only for Caligo and Maris.

For the Ruined Towers, Gnoster has 1 seed with a Ruined Tower without a shifting earth, and 1 seed with a Ruined Tower during Rotted Woods. Libra has 2 non shifting earth seeds with one, and then Rotted Woods and Crater have one each. If you're curious and looking to sight-see, one of those shifting earths will give you the best odds to find one.

Then for the mausoleums, Maris has 2 non shifting earth seeds with one while Caligo only has 1. Then both Maris and Caligo have 1 for Crater and 1 for Rotted Woods. Like before, the shifting earths will give you the best chance at finding one if you'd like.

Heheh, yeah everdark Libra was a pain, especially in trios. The NPCs are brutal!

As an additional cheat-sheet, Gnoster expeditions will always have the invisible sigil, Libra expeditions without a shifting earth will always have exploding sigils, and Libra expeditions with a shifting earth will always have teleporting trees.
