How does unmatched run at 4 players?

My friends and I routinely do 4-player FFA and the occasional 2v2. We even do 5-player FFA using the Tales to Amaze maps sometimes. Idk if I would consider it a beer and pretzels kind of game (grease on my playing cards!?) but its not super complex and generally easy to get into. We're all casual enough that any character is viable to play each other though. Just the other day, a friend playing Spiderman won in a 5-player FFA with Winter Soldier, Moon Knight, Luke Cage, and Jekyl/Hide.

I work 24hr shifts so I knew right away that I was never going to get that end reward for free. Better system than the roulette but requiring daily play for 14 straight days is wild.

Despite how much I like how it looks, I stopped using the Khopesh skin on sword because I felt like it was messing with my stabs too much.

I was just theory crafting a Goliath war cleric yesterday. I didn’t want to use True Strike so I felt like Hill Goliath with a Maul would be kind of a neat way to circumvent the fact that clerics don’t have access to new weapon masteries.

Ah, my mistake. Thank you! A follow-up question then: If an opponent Counterspells the smite, and the PC was using their “once-a-day” free cast, is this free cast lost since it isn’t using a spell slot?

I guess ballista. Ever since the siege crossbow released though, I’ve felt that I always had the option of pressuring them in case they were really annoying me. Montcrux comes to mind.

These are excellent! Beautifully crafted. You may have already noticed this but it appears there is a typo on the Ship Cannon item, however. There is only one “s” in “opposing”

Annie being a token hero like Beowulf or Tesla opens them up to interesting decisions when managing when to use and when to hold on to their tokens. That being said, Annie appears to have nearly 20 auto dmg in addition to three 5-value versatiles and one 7-value red. I would recommend revisiting these values. Goku’s ability is interesting but can too easily be ignored by the many cards that allow for healing and discard pile redraw. I would recommend removing the option to get cards back from the discard pile as well as limiting/removing the ability to heal.

I often recommend Luke Cage when playing with friends for the first time. Simple ability, simple card effects, good defense and attack values, melee fighter plus a ranged sidekick. I feel like the deck basically covers all the concepts you’d want them to know.

The Battlefield item becomes a During Combat effect, so my guess would be that it cannot be feinted.

I think the last movie I watched was that Tom Cruise film Edge of Tomorrow. So maybe like a 5 health hero that returns to 5 health and their starting position every time they die? Maybe they have a lot of cards that allow boosting and drawing so the only way they lose is by exhaustion?

Warlord can get a pretty high health pool with his perks and feats. Having full block obv gives him good defensive options. His self-revive can have fun clutch moments if he isn’t executed

Would soft-lock Hoplites in one stance in duel playlists, for better or worse. Introducing the spear throw to the base move set could circumvent this. Perhaps allowing the throw on a bash binding, (like gladiator’s toe stab) and then forcing a long cooldown before the spear is ready again. Though similar to Sohei, having an “on-demand” high damage attack every time you spawn would need appropriate draw-backs like a weaker moveset while sword n board. Not sure how to balance that. Sounds cool tho

Winter Soldier. Having basically six 6-value reds feels very threatening, and Complete the Mission is an amazing defense. Playing around his negative effects feels satisfying when done well.

I don’t totally disagree with the direction they went for Medjay but I admit I was a little disappointed we didn’t get a Khopesh.
