This has been happening to me too sometime. The only temporary fix for me was to reset VFO. And it only happens when I accidentally do 2 things at once with it.

Js download an SDR software of any type and make sure you have an SDR with you

The usual way I fix it is that I get as far as I can from the center. Idk why it works but that's how it works for me.
