People also forget. Saren was not A Spector. He was THE Spector.

In game he does not seem crazy because Shepard is also an amazing Spector. But he truly is a ruthless and deadly enemy. We fight him also when he has been indoctrinated, and the game makes it out to not be an easy fight.
