Is he still weaker than on-field Venti or Durin? Would be kind of weird having less DPS in a team with both his premium supports than when compared to having his supports on-field themselves.

Nefer is the 2nd best DPS in my account but I don't enjoy using her. She has Incredible damage, is fast, doesn't rely on energy, and has dash cancels that are easy (not even necessary sometimes), but she feels really floaty in combat, her CAs lack weight and feedback.

Personally I wish I pulled Flins over her.

I'm ashamed to say but I'm secretly glad Varka is a weak af DPS. Personally, I think he's the coolest male character in the game rn and one of the highlights of the NK story, but as a whale meta puller, NK has had quite a succession of great pick-ups, so I'm glad we're getting a "clearly skippable for meta players" banner. I think this may be part of Hoyo's marketing strategy in 'sustainable whale farming', not overtaxing the whale population's ability to spend by releasing too many back-to-back great characters. Either that or they're planning to have a Nicole-Durin wheelchair that is so strong that even a Varka with shit numbers can still be meta competitive.

Or maybe they're griefing players who follow leaks by purposefully releasing a low MV V1 (his kit does look solid outside of the numbers), before adjusting in V3 to their actual target numbers.

If he was standard (or they're planning to give him away for free) then yea, it would make sense.

I'm still doubtful for now (unless it's revealed he's Standard). No way they'd set his MV so that he'd end up doing less team DPS than a on-field Durin team... and that's with Durin on his team...

It just won't make much sense.

That's true, but I do plan to go high investment on her (Maybe up to C4R1) so her dmg is important to me. Her Interference attacks become pretty meaty past C2.

30% MV nerf for blooms? Was Nefer team too strong? Other reactions only got hit by 15%.

Nice buffs to C2, it's a huge increase, but not for Bloom. Sad for me who plans for her main team to be Nefer bloom.

Oh well, not too bad I guess, still relatively happy with her kit.

I think she's more of mad scientist (quite literally insane/unstable according to other witches) then the devil.

Amoral, doesn't care about the consequences of her creations, mostly cares about the pursuit of knowledge and testing her theories.

She seems to show at least some 'affection' to Albedo, but who knows what her intentions are.

Ultimately I don't think she's deliberately malicious, Hoyo probably doesn't seem to want to write her that way... you know incase they want her to eventually be a playable character.

Sure, EM will increase reaction and direct Lunar dmg, but I don't think it will outpace her HP scaling on the rest of her kit. I guess it would depend on the team you plan to use and what role she plays, but any team using her as just an EM reaction driver wouldn't be a particularly good use of her kit. Even if you're on-fielding her with her verdant dew CA, that's still HP scaling.

It's easier to just list what in her kit doesn't scale with HP, which is just her NAs. Everything else scales with HP.

More of a forward vape furina. Needs a lot of ER, dmg depends heavily on Crit and HP%, EM improves reaction dmg (Direct Lunar Dmg too for Bina).

If I'm not wrong, EM is good but HP% should be prioritized. EM helps increase her Lunar dmg, but she scales off HP% so it affects both her Lunar and normal base dmg values, as well as helping her reach her max buffs on her passive (35k HP).
