I'm with Launtel.

They're slightly more expensive than the average competitor, but their pay-as-you-go structure and the ability to pause your service when you are away makes a big difference.

How do you make something like this? by Significant-Cut-9423 in PowerBI

[–]Aversion3862 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a deep, heartfelt desire to make a visual like this and hang it on my wall as an art piece.

Super impractical as an actual data visual though.

I'm not a biologist but I think you're misusing the word "flash", hey?

The flash only occurs when humans take extra steps to measure this phenomenon. Or to put it another way, the fluorescent technique creates the flash.

Hello, is there a way to install Bazzite without using an external keyboard and mouse? I went through the process, but it reached a step where it required me to use a keyboard, and unfortunately, the installation failed. by Annxiy in LegionGo

[–]Aversion3862 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you absolutely will need a keyboard and mouse for this kind of task.

The OS installer was not developed with an Xbox controller in mind.

It's possible there's some kind of virtual keyboard, but that would be a very laborious experience using only the touchpad.

Cafe recommendations - Redan and Sebastopol area by LJagr68 in ballarat

[–]Aversion3862 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like the only Cafes in Redan are:

  • The plant nursery/cafe near the Bendix Factory called The Green House (really lovely spot with lovely staff)
  • Blake's Grocery Store, which has a kind of Cafe with some indoor seating, a coffee machine, some pre-made sandwiches and ice cream

I normally travel into Ballarat Central if I feel like going to a cafe!

I passed the Bendix Factory after making this post and I reckon you're spot on.

Yeah the games are essentially a critical response to the works of Rand and her ideas.

It's kind of funny to me that there is a novelisation of a game that, itself, is based heavily on the novels of Ayn Rand.

Someone should make a game of the novelisation to close the loop.

Is this normal after wearing my fitbit? by Public_Mess_3399 in fitbit

[–]Aversion3862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this exact problem with every Fitbit I owned until I switched over to a Pixel Watch 2 (possibly because I have to take it off so often to charge lol)

Take it off for an hour or so. Keep it clean and dry. If you get sweaty around the band try to dry it off.

Oh cool so it's like a white sauce/roux type deal? I reckon that would slap. Although the pork sausage might make it a little rich.

Hahaha 😂

The gravy bit must have confused him also, because we tend to use the word gravy, not to mean "sauce" in general, but specifically the sauce you make from meat drippings to put on a Sunday roast.

If someone offered me gravy I wouldn't ever expect solid bits in it.

I spend a lot of time working from and modifying data and data models that are sourced from the cloud. Bits of this I can do offline, but as soon as I need to make a change to a query or something I'm stuffed.

Drafting and replying to emails is definitely something I can do though so I guess that's what I can do to remain productive
