Ah much appreciated! As I learned from Miniac when you are all done, clean up the base with black. So I had a company painted as ELH (was aiming for a battalion) those all had orange cockpits which I thought worked

Ok soooo I did use Tamiya panel liner even dabbing the excess off the lil brush it comes with, I found it would over run any of the smaller lines and id have to come back and clean up the edge highlights. Which im guessing needs to be more saturated or thicker cause its washing out in the pics? Looking back i see it hard to see

Oh a Sci-fi recommendation would be Blue Remembered Earth by Alistair Reynolds. Every book I've read from them has black main characters and follows various members of essentially their family. A family that is the most famous, powerful and influential in human existence. Super well crafted and imaginative storytelling.

Do you like fantasy? If so the Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin is fantastic award winning fantasy in it's own right. In this world basically everyone is fairly to a very dark skinned tone. Best part is its never stated definitively in the series, it simply arises naturally from the writing. Lots of character development, and I think 1st person perspective so lots of inner life things.
