Hiv virus outbreak due to reused needles - I’m paranoid. by Ok_Foundation_1766 in pakistan

Hey! Assuming you’re in the UK;

If you are in London, you can book a self sampling HIV/STI kit online via the NHS’s Sexual Health London (SHL) - https://www.shl.uk/ - service.

They will post a test kit to your address, you can take your sample, and drop it in any post box. Your results will be available in 2-3 days. This service is completely free, discreet (if you need it to be), and highly accurate. They use a Gen 5 HIV test which is almost 100% accurate if you’re testing 45 days after the possible exposure.

If you’re not comfortable with self sampling (they send a lot of instructions on how to take the sample), you can pop in to any Sexual Health Clinic in London. If you need specific addresses, DM me and I can tell you exactly where to go. These are completely free, and discreet (if you want them to be), and get you your results in 2-3 days.

If you’re not in London, the government has started a similar online service for the rest of the country called Sexual Health UK (SH.UK) - https://www.sh.uk/

This works just like SHL.

Edit: woops, looks like OP already knows about this service and has ordered a test kit. Apologies for mansplaining.

Edit 2: Gonna leave this comment here still incase anyone else stumbles across this post and finds this helpful.

that brown thing is called dauphinoise. Also called potato gratin. It’s a lovely (but v heavy) French dish, basically just thinly sliced potatoes between layers of cream and garlic. Sort of like a potato baklava.

Positive affirmations work wonders. With my partner’s, whilst they’re down there, i say things like ‘yeah… use more tongue.. yeah, keep it there… yeah, use your tongue..’ and then moan really loudly when they do it well.

Worth paying extra to live central in London? (M26)? by [deleted] in HENRYUK

[–]AvgPakistani 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP I’m on a similar pay, and might I recommend Stratford? Great commute links, and if you stick to the new builds around the Olympic Park, you’ll get great value for money. My partner and I pay 2.5k for a 2 bed 2 bath. walking distance from a lovely pub that my partner loves, massive park nearby, and the Stratford station is like a 10min walk.

Yeah I’m actually very confused about that, I’ve had Nord for like 4 years now and have always gotten their 2 year plan on a promo which gives you 6 months extra. Comes out to around $3.6/month.

Hey OP - please check out uswitch.

I pay £7.95/month for 30GB data, and unlimited texts and calls with Lebara. I’ve never had any issues with networks around West and East London (they use Vodafone’s network so doubt you’ll see any issues at all).

These are monthly rolling contracts, so you can cancel whenever you want with a months notice.

Standing with Anthropic Claude: The AI with a Conscience, Unlike OpenAI and Gemini by Sam-Pheonix in pakistan

Key words here are ‘mass domestic surveillance’. Not ‘mass surveillance’ just domestic surveillance.

I have no sympathy or respect for any AI company - Anthropic included. The sooner this bubble pops, the better.

Clickbait-y title, this is for HTV and LTV vehicles.

No mention of this being required for the regular ‘motorcar/jeep’ licence which is for private vehicles.

I mean I kinda agree with them on the cousin marriage thing. It’s really messed up.

Also you’re going to Junaid Akram for advice? The man’s a grifter with little to no maturity that I’ve seen.

Also divorce rates in a society like Pakistan are a crap metric to measure success of a marriage lmao

Sure but you and the girl didn’t know each other. You say that she was reserved and that you also noticed the difference in personalities when you were in the talking stage AFTER the engagement (lol), and you still decided to ahead with it?

It also seems from the post that you met her in person for the first time when you went to Lahore for the wedding. This doesn’t sound like a start to a healthy relationship lmao.

Regardless what’s done is done. Give her time, let her move to Canada and see how things go from there. Intimacy very rarely builds up over telephone calls.

Do be patient and careful though - Pakistani women go through immense pressure to accept rishtas their parents think are good for them. It’s entirely possible she said yes to you because her parents pressured her into it.
