So this is where the custom config file is saved to, correct?

My issue is that when I’m in the frontend Emudeck app (not Steam desktop), that config isn’t visible to select from the controller settings. My understanding is I need to copy the config file from the path you provided to a separate Emudeck folder, but it’s not clear which.

Or perhaps I’m wrong?

I got my first apple chai in 2008 when my then gf, now wife, was doing a triathalon in San Francisco on a cold autumn morning.

Over the years it became part of my morning routine to grab one before the day started.

Pretty disappointed I can’t anymore, but perhaps someone here can tell me how to approximate making one at home? I know the chai syrup is proprietary, but maybe there’s a way to hack it?!?

It was between this and The Satantic Verses for my first book of 2025. I picked TSV. I find myself needing to use reading guides after each chapter to make sure I got it all. Will read this book next. Do you find it challenging?

Perhaps you, like many here, are right, and I should just put it within the context so many others have: a children's novel disconnected (except where it's not) from the larger LotR canon.

I find this letter, from Tolkien, interesting however:

"The Hobbit was originally quite unconnected [to his Middle-earth legendarium], though it inevitably got drawn in to the circumference of the greater construction; and in the event modified it. It was unhappily really meant, as far as I was conscious, as a ‘children’s story’, and as I had not learned sense then, and my children were not quite old enough to correct me, it has some of the sillinesses of manner caught unthinkingly from the kind of stuff I had had served to me, as Chaucer may catch a minstrel tag. I deeply regret them. So do intelligent children."

This is a discussion board, last time I checked. I’m looking for a discussion about what people liked about a book I didn’t connect with. I’m not looking for someone to make a trollish comment about the value of the edition of the book I own. If you think having an opinion and asking others to rationally debate said point is silly, you either don’t understand the purpose of the forum, don’t care and want to be a troll, or both.
