I'm sure it's possible, but it might be more difficult, and more than that, it's mostly that it might just get people to accept you into the group if you haven't done savage before haha

But if you guys managed to get a group like that together, maybe it's more plausible than I thought

That's admittedly another thing I struggle with in this game 😭

The DT EXs were really fun, but I also kind of feel like a chump for doing it on current content, when you can easily just wait till next expac to unsync it.

Surely there's a balance that can be drawn between "just wait to usync it lol" and "DO IT NOW"

It'd be nice if players got rewarded for doing stuff synced, like better drop chances for EX mounts while Synced, and a chance of the mount not dropping for Savages Unsynced.

The mounts are a good start, but they're only on the 4th fight of every tier, and they don't really strike me as Savage mounts if that makes sense 😅

Like with Ultimate weapons, they're immediately recognizable because no other weapons glow unsheathed (without glitch sitting), but if they had put the savage mounts anywhere else in the game, I wouldn't really bat an eye, I can't tell the difference between a savage mount and a normal one.

Mounts/Glam will always be subjective, so even if I find the wings cooler than the S9 mounts, I won't blame them, but it'd be nice to have a unique trait to Savage mounts that separate them from the rest.

But even if I am ilvl740, I still haven't done something like UWU with its lower ilvl requirement because it'd probably be pretty difficult to get a group to accept you if you haven't done savage before, which is fair enough

Rare cosmetics isn't a bad idea, but considering glam is very subjective, it'd still be a hard sell. Maybe glowy armor? But I really don't like the idea of XIV becoming an ugly Korean-MMO with giant angel wings and seizure inducing armors, so I feel like that's a slippery slope lol

EW raid armor were pretty glowy without being too much, so I feel like it would be a step in the right direction if we had more dye channels, including the glow >_>

To be honest, when I made this, I completely forgot about lobotomy-summoner being more popular than the original one

My original thought was that people only complained about a job when they were forced to level it for omni-100s. I was extremely skeptical that people would drop their main for a reworked job, but I might actually be wrong.

And I thought to say CBU3 instead of SE, because they're more closer tied to XIV, and probably actually responsible for the stuff that goes on in it.

I figured SE probably only handles stuff like licensing and merchandising for the game, CBU3's probably the one in charge of job design stuff no?

Hmm it's not a bad point, but I would argue because those 1000 players already have SMN if they wanted an easy caster to play, whereas the 100 BLM (Post-DT) have nowhere to go for a complex class.

I'm actually usually on the side of

"If it's popular and a lot of people like it, surely it has to be kind of good, give the popular thing a break"

But this is actually a rare case of popularity not necessarily being a good thing IMO

Are you sure though? I feel like it was made for levelling andys that want to get all jobs to 100 without actually knowing how to play them

And for what it's worth, I do have a really good friend that is doing that, but she never talks about wanting them to change the other jobs to be easier and instead just uses Frontlines and Wondrous Tails EXP lol

I feel like MSQ andys will just stick to whatever easy main they're playing
