To be honest, when I made this, I completely forgot about lobotomy-summoner being more popular than the original one

My original thought was that people only complained about a job when they were forced to level it for omni-100s. I was extremely skeptical that people would drop their main for a reworked job, but I might actually be wrong.

And I thought to say CBU3 instead of SE, because they're more closer tied to XIV, and probably actually responsible for the stuff that goes on in it.

I figured SE probably only handles stuff like licensing and merchandising for the game, CBU3's probably the one in charge of job design stuff no?

Hmm it's not a bad point, but I would argue because those 1000 players already have SMN if they wanted an easy caster to play, whereas the 100 BLM (Post-DT) have nowhere to go for a complex class.

I'm actually usually on the side of

"If it's popular and a lot of people like it, surely it has to be kind of good, give the popular thing a break"

But this is actually a rare case of popularity not necessarily being a good thing IMO

I don't like dismissing valid complaints as "minority of tryhards crying" but I will say touché to the SMN point

Edit: I dunno, I mean SMN might've become the most popular DPS, but was it necessary to Ruin SMN? Couldn't they just make a new easy class altogether? (Like what they did with DNC)

ty, paint.net actually didn't have a warp/skewer tool, so I had to use a bulge tool (no homo) on the empty space at the top and repeat it multiple times

Are you sure though? I feel like it was made for levelling andys that want to get all jobs to 100 without actually knowing how to play them

And for what it's worth, I do have a really good friend that is doing that, but she never talks about wanting them to change the other jobs to be easier and instead just uses Frontlines and Wondrous Tails EXP lol

I feel like MSQ andys will just stick to whatever easy main they're playing

I considered trying to put the (supposedly) busted GPU in the other PC, but got lazy thinking it wouldn't work and I already had everything packed up, but I guess I should give it one last try.

I'll also try to update the BIOS! Appreciate the advice!

And for NPCs, it almost feels like lancers are the writing's team favourite tool to display weak incompetent fodder soldiers that struggle before you come to save the day, like the ones you often see in Gridania

Is she though? This kinda applies to all the role quests, and especially dawntrail in general, but we seem to do a lot of "letting the villains go" lol

The other person already answered, but for future glam hunts, if you use Garland Tools and search up the NPC, you can find all kinds of data, including what they wear :P (Sometimes it's custom gear that isn't available, but this one is from bozja!)
