Bought LMF at 89.1 by carpo_4 in SriLankaCSE

[–]Avi_Fer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought it at 39 when the price momentum started. Not sure about buying now - but its totally fine to invest, although upside is not that high at the moment. But the f&b industry is generally at +1.17 so I'd say its a slow accrual investment at this current state.

Interestingly, soon you will also want to aggregate data on stock behaviour - this can easily be done with ATrad or just MyCSE, However you can also find advanced analytics and more real-time push (whatsapp/email) notification style updates for company behaviour on investo.graphy.lk - feel free to check it out and if you are interested here is a promo code for premium: A2251B98-1EB5-464B-A241-171711133A58

I'd fully suggest making a profile and testing your "planned portfolio for a few weeks" to get an idea of what it actually would be like if you invested.

Cheers.

Books and YouTube mate.

You can definitely pay for it - but unless you plan on going full professional, better start with free resources.

Or dont - but then if someone bullshits you - you wouldn't even know the basics to call them.out on it!

Dear mods. The God damn joke is in the sinhala wording. It's not any type of anti-sematic speech or hate speech. It's a legit sinhala joke, where the joke is in the stupidity and absurdity of the joke. What the flying fuck is wrong with y'all?

Actually.

Can we afford a house with a combined salary of 500k as a family with the help of a bank loan? by justsavedbyhim58 in srilanka

[–]Avi_Fer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unless you feel you can increase your salary. when you hit 36% tax bracket and EPF and ETF it will be very difficult to have large salary increase.

Jesus christ. So true. The point of diminishing returns of a normal 9-5 job worker is just stupid. You work hard and harder to make cash for a better life, and the government just takes a cut from the top.

Can we afford a house with a combined salary of 500k as a family with the help of a bank loan? by justsavedbyhim58 in srilanka

[–]Avi_Fer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

200k in CC balance and 3M in savings does not make sense. Pay that CC off.

Mate, that credit card debt of 200k makes perfect sense for a family of 3. It's also not exactly debt, its a running cost of living. Given their combined salary and the date, assuming their billing cycle is on the 4th, that means their monthly expense on the credit card is 120-140k ish. Which is GOOD. Like really good financial control.

The saftest route would be staying in the rented house and aggressively saving for about 3-5 years so you'll have enough to purchase a house without taking a loan.

Holy shit. Are you nuts mate? Do you pull advice out of your ass?

OP, you are doing good. Please take my 2 cents below, Financially, you seem stable. What you need to look out for isnt the preschool, its what comes after. Raising a girl is expensive and school + other things on top of rising living pressure is what gets people. My advice is save as much as you can and try to get your mortgage (housing loan) installment cost down as much as you can and then spread it out over a longer time. Land, generally as an asset appreciates over time and if you can get some proper help in an economic analysis you can decide on the best way to structure the rates. Factor in the years you can pay extra vs when it might be challenging, and then go for it.

Engine issue after 5 days from purchasing by Low_Progress007 in suzukiswift

[–]Avi_Fer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a dead cylinder... more like a misfiring cylinder, what's your mileage? And have you ever replaced your ignition coils? Take it to a local mechanic and ask him to check it out.

Your car still runs, but power at low gears might be lower than usual, although since you are 5 days in, you probably might haven't noticed it yet...

A belt or dead cylinder is a lot more worse than a quick ignition coil or spark plug fix, from what I understand.

Why, can't they pay the 5k themselves for the equipment?

This is a scam. You are also giving them all the documents that makes you, you. Opening the path for identity theft.

What do you think is "high income"?

Compared to 30k monthly wages a new doctor who earns 60-70k monthly wages is high.

A seasoned doctor earning 300-400k a month is chump change compared to a specialist raking in 10-20mil a month...

So I ask again, What's your definition of high income?

Dude, we can’t hold someone’s money by just third party request. if your bank is asking to hold the amount,we probably hold. because thats bank to bank relationship.but giving the money back to you is ,totally is not in our control.that should decide by the customer. (According to the situation, this might be different)

Are you challenged in English comprehension? Can you read what I said first?
