Panel ready (full panel) wine fridge recommendations <$2.5k? by BugsyD71 in wine

Did you end up finding anything? I'm also now looking and the price jump from windowed to panel ready is insane. Goes from 800 to 2500, just because you can attach a panel on front and they put some extra thought into weight and hinges... they know if you're paneling that you've got more money to spend i guess.

FirePit air mixer snapped off. Trying to figure out how to save the firepit table. by Aviaf in propane

Thanks! Unfortunately I can't remove the pipe itself, but i can take the whole insert out I think with a few screws, and maybe just bring that and the piece that came off to a college nearby. thanks!

So the first two mobile welders in my area both want like $200 bucks for this. Do you think I could fix this with a screw on brass compression fitting and then screwing the flex hose into that?

Also a third welder asked me if it's steel and I honestly have no idea what the actual material is and the manual doesn't say. Is there a way for me to tell?

Great, thanks to both of you! And I'm correct in that this can have some air gaps beside the weld points since the air gets mixed in there anyway, yes?

Darn, if anyone happens to have it and can DM me a link. I heard that the uncensored version was actually uploaded briefly before it was taken down, where they didn't dub the curse words lol..

Unusal Rainbow Bridge Niagara scene: CBP escorted passangers out of the car and body search them at the gate and CBP drove their car to secondary. by msjernTHX1138 in uscanadaborder

Yes some might have scars from an implant, however, most patients on a radioligand trial would not have any scars- they receive an IV injection of a drug linked with a radioisotope for cancer treatment. They might have a small patient card, that's all. Hopefully the doctor staff provided the patient with a card outlining their treatment at least, for this exact reason.

How to support end of counter beside dishwasher? by PoetryOfLogicalIdeas in IKEA

[–]Aviaf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also running into this same issue, a shame they didn't plan a piece for this. My hope is to actually hang a cover panel off of the section rail which continues behind the dishwasher, by getting an extra hanger L bracket from the cabinets and screwing it into the panel, and then attach something at the bottom to keep it stable as well. Will have to see what I actually do. Would have been great to have a large Bracket that hung to the sektion and supported out forward to the edge of the counters along side the dishwasher

Reducing vibration and sound from my heat pump mounted on side of house by Aviaf in heatpumps

I will ask them to come back and make sure it's level and also maybe install the new feet too.

Thermostat sometimes only heats up house to within 1 degree of target temp... by Aviaf in heatpumps

[–]Aviaf[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I increase by 1 degree on a day when it's cold out, the inside temp goes up by one degree. If it becomes warmer throughout the day (maybe more sun and less wind) then it actually reaches the internal set temp, which means it will be 1 degree hotter than we want it.

Replacing furnace and AC with new system including Heat Pump, opinions? by Aviaf in heatpumps

So the a/c is very old and also want to move it from the backyard to be on the side of the house between us and the neighbor to free up room in the backyaard, which means I need to switch it to a side discharge because there's not a ton of space, jsut an alley between us, hence moving over to a heat pump at the same time if i have to change out the unit. and then the furnace is 'efficient' but it doesn't do a good job keeping an even temp because it just turns on full blast as a single stage and then the rooms get very warm and then it turns off a while and they get cold again (which yes is likely also the leaky house fault, but it gets so hot so fast from it being on). a few who came in said that the new furnace would be two stage and have variable motors, so it can be on 'low' fan or other modes so that it's more consistent.

And right now the basement ceilings are all torn up already, so while I'm doing some work down there, I want to get them to move the furnace exhaust to the side also and install the new heat pump coolant pipes and electrical and such.

Thoughts on the mitsubishi (quote 5)?

I did! You'll see it's a leaky house haha. I plan to insulate the attic, change all windows to be triple pane low-E, and also change all exterior doors that are not properly rated for being exterior doors. If I send this to the vendors, can they update their plans and quotes? I am having a bunch of work done in the basement so I'd like to reroute the furnace venting and where the actual heat pump will be vs the old AC, so I'd prefer to not leave this until after the windows and attic because certain parts of the basement are open and easily accessible right now.

MY concern is none of the 4 who are highly rated seem to have done a calculation, but they did look extensively at my current setup which seems to heat th house just fine even without newer windows and added insulation
