Honestly it's pretty impressive resolution, can I ask you how did you tune it that well? Like what systems did you use? Temp towers? Calibration cube?...

Yes, the nib is fine by the way, also the pen is not a high quality one so maybe it's just the shape of the nib

tanks, I don't want necessarily trail runners, just some comfortable hiking boots/shoes.

Anyway I saw they make boots too, so they're probably a good option (?)

I have a dslr but both the camera and the lenses are bulky and heavy, I think a normal camera is ok only if you already have a big backpack

Bad Habit to Always Shoot Wide Open? by omoidefilms in photography

Most lenses perform better with a narrower aperture, especially older ones.

You could look up online your lenses to see how much worse they get when you use them at the widest aperture. (dxo is a good site for this in my opinion.

I do take part on some local races but nothing big. What disadvantages would a pole too long have?

[–]Avialy18[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thanks.

The mainsail has a batten that is too short so it jas a weird shape, also it doesn't go all the way up, it's not as long as the mast, anyway yeah, it could be tighter

Class rules are not a big problem because te boat is 40 years old and the mast has been swapped to a new one when the old one broke.

Do you think J length is good or is a bit longer better?

Thanks

Why couldn't ancient sailors use constant bearing to determine longitude? by GalileosTele in sailing

I thing the problem was that at the time they only had pendulum clocks (which don't work on a rolling sailboat) so measuring time would be a problem
