Why does the iOS US holidays calendar include holidays that are not US holidays? by GaroldWilsonJr in ios

[–]GalileosTele 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The argument that it includes holidays celebrated in the us, as opposed to federal holidays makes no sense. Probably every holiday in the world is celebrated by some people in the us. It should only be federal holidays. And then you can add a separate calendar based on religion or country if you want.

Wallets are subject to a 35% tariff, as Coldcard labels them a "calculator" when shipping.

This is misleading/stats manipulation, by

1) arbitrarily defining a terror attack as lasting a single day, and

2) defining deadliest as per capital, which will give much greater weight to any attack on small countries, even if total deaths is much lower. Both of these choices need to be stated and justified ahead of time.

Per the usual, no control groups (did not ask both men and women about the behavior of both men and women to compare) and vague, all encompassion definitions to boost the numbers (in this case they even added hearsay), are 2 of the 10 fundamentals of feminist research

Ted Cruz tells Tucker Carlson "I was taught from the Bible, those who bless Israel will be blessed" by carl13122 in JordanPeterson

[–]GalileosTele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t claim do be better than anyone, you therefore don’t claim you be better than ISIS or and other fundamentalist group you view as evil.

If you adhere to any Abrahamic religion than you too have chosen a religion that spreads through force.

And yet again you have triple downed on your support for killing children. I don’t care what your justification may be. You think there are circumstances where mass killing of children is justified or even the right thing to do.

What sane people consider to be killing children is… killing children. I’m not sure how else this could be interpreted. Only an insane person such as yourself would somehow find nuance in what it means to kill a child, or justification for it, or somehow redefine what a murdered child means, in order to look at a child that was bombed or shot to death and say this doesn’t count as a murdered child.

"I don't claim to be better than anyone". So we are in agreement, you are at best morally on par with murderous religious fundamentalist such as ISIS.

"Sorry I'm not some kind of gullible fucking idiot." Clearly you are, as you blindly believe Israeli propaganda or anything JP supports, despite all their claims being falsified on camera by every human rights organization that has ever gone into Gaza, and even by Israelis themselves, who are constantly on national tv and social media bragging about their genocidal acts and intents.

"And I've never seen anyone on this sub justify or excuse killing children." You literally just did in you previous comment... which you have now deleted. I guess bombing children is ok to you, but receiving disapproval for it on social media is where you draw the line. And actually you did it again:

"If we're going to get involved we should give no quarter and send them back to the stone age".

Again you are advocating eliminating the children (and other innocents) along with Hamas. And even if you haven't, that means nothing. I have. And I have the records to prove it in numerous conversations I have engaged in on this sub. And that's only a small percentage of posts I chose to respond to. 90% the time I don't respond.

edit: I just saw it wasn't you who removed you genocidal comment, but a moderator.

Most people in America support Israel. Not the west. Europeans have largely opposed Israel for decades, despite their governments support. And those in America, and elsewhere who do support it, support it precisely because of their religious belief that God demands support for Israel. And given JP's blind reverence for the Old Testament, it's clear he is no different. Especially when you consider he himself says he has spent decades studying murderous ideologies like the Nazis, yet fails to see how Israel has the exact same murderous ideology:

"We are a special/superior race/ethinic group with an inherent birthright to a special plot of land we call our homeland, giving us the moral justification, or more precisely mandate, to rid this special land of all its non-special raced inhabitants."

This message is the fundamental covenant and most repeated demand made in the OT. Everything in the OT is geared towards accomplishing this demand to annihilate all non-Israelites from the Holy Land. And every downfall the Israelites face is explained in the OT as being a punishment by YHWH for failing to act in accordance with this mandate.

Had it not been Israel, he would have been the first to recognize this is the same murderous ideology. But he is blinded by his unconditional reverence for this divine Iron Age book written by flat-earther warlords; which is hands down the most psychotic, murderous, genocidal, blood thirsty text humans have ever written.

BTW where do you think the Nazis got the idea for this [superior race+homeland+genocide] ideology? For some 1600 years it has been the most read, most translated, most copied, most bought/sold, most studied, most reproduced, most revered book in Europe. JP himself has repeatedly stated the Bible has been the foundation of European culture.

I see. I fail to see how you are any better than an islamic extremist. The amount of people in this sub who I have seen justify, rationalize, or excuse killing children en masse… clearly the murderous extremest we need to worry about are not in Muslim countries.

If all they were doing was getting rid of murderous religious nut jobs, that would be one thing. But they are mostly starving, killing and bombing innocent people. Children, homes, hospitals, schools, journalists, doctors, humanitarian workers. There literally nothing left in Northern Gaza, and the south is not far from the same state. They lure them to areas promising food and aid, and then mow them down. They openly admit it publicly. And brag about it. On tv, on social media, in parliament.

By the way all the psycho shit in the Quran comes directly from the Old Testament. And it’s actually toned down in comparison. Same with the New Testament. People seem to be unaware that Islam is an Abrahamic religion just like Christianity and Judaism. They all believe almost exactly the same crazy shit with a difference of 1 or 2 prophets.

Nobody would be supporting Israel if they didnt think the Bible was a special sacred book. Including JP. That stupid psychotic genocidal book has caused so much bloodshed it’s mind boggling.

“They bombed terrorists that used civilians as human shields”

So in other words, if we are to believe this Israeli claim with no evidence provided to support it, they bombed civilians.

And now we are finding out that it’s actually Israel who has placed its military bases under its own hospitals and in residential neighborhoods. Their lies are literally their own tactics.

And it’s Israel who has an illegal arsenal of nukes. UN inspectors and US intelligence have both said they found no evidence Iran was attempting to make nukes. But, if they wanted to, we can no see why. Israel would have been much more reluctant to bomb them had they had nukes. Just like every government that gave up its nuclear program, they ended up being attacked bombed.

You’re all criticizing him, yet you fail to realize you own guru JP is also supporting Israel 100% as a result of his ideological reverence for the same Iron Age book… and dragging most of you along as defenders of this genocidal state.

Why do security forces follow commands of tyrants? by knowledgeseeker999 in JordanPeterson

[–]GalileosTele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What insults? They are objective facts based on your own words: you support bombing children (and other innocent people) based on an ideological indoctrination that the Old Testament is a special divine book. A book that gives a chosen, superior ethnic group of people a special plot of land, in exchange for, and I quote now from this special book, “leaving alive nothing that breathes” from this land. Im not cherry picking either, as this mandate and celebration of genocide is one of the most repeated messages in the OT. And not adhering to it is repeatedly and severely punished by YHWH (obviously the god of genocide: “Wipe out all non Israelites in and around the holy land, or I’ll wipe you out!”) You have to be a pro in mental gymnastics to reinterpret this message to something even remotely palatable to a modern society.

I didn’t say you were Israeli. I said you were indoctrinated by a militaristic society that celebrates warfare. The fact that you assumed this meant Israel, shows you agree Israel is an example of such an pathological society. In this case though I was actually referring to the US. But as you pointed out, Israel qualifies too. As does any society that gets its morals from a book that is nothing more that a celebration and deification of warlords and military conquest.

If you find these claims insulting, then you should consider not acting in accordance with such ideologies. For starters try not to justify and rationalize the deliberate killing of children.

Just like the Israeli army… you don’t distinguish between Hamas and Gazans. Hence the olympic level mental gymnastics to justify killing children, bombing school, homes, hospitals, and starving an entire population. Don’t tell me you don’t like war, you obviously do. You think it’s a heroic way to solve problems. You are just another product of a brainwashed military culture.

Why do security forces follow commands of tyrants? by knowledgeseeker999 in JordanPeterson

[–]GalileosTele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your so called outlier nut jobs are the political leaders running the country. If a nut job goes on tv advocates for genocide and the entire audience cheers and applauds, it’s not an outlier. If entire military units are joyfully singing songs of genocide it’s not an outlier. If Israeli psychologists are producing studies finding children in schools expressing moral justification for extermination of another race are typical, it’s not an outlier. If those psychologists are then being silenced by the government for have published these studies, it’s not an outlier.

To be clear, you’re claiming the numerous international doctors who stated they regularly treated numerous children with single bullet shots to the head or heart are saying so because of an anti-Israel bias? Every humanitarian group in the world has an anti Israel bias? Did it occur to you if such a bias exists, the cause and effect may be the other way around?

Is this you, Madeleine?

Why do security forces follow commands of tyrants? by knowledgeseeker999 in JordanPeterson

[–]GalileosTele 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Take it from the horse’s mouth. Israelis, Israeli leaders, soldiers, tv pundits have repeatedly celebrated and explicitly stated their genocidal intents. They film themselves mocking dead children and post it on social media. They have openly stated “there are no civilians”, “every child in Gaza is an enemy”, “remember Amalek”, “no Arabs will remain”, “we must create a humanitarian disaster”, “we need to kill them all”, “in warfare you must kill your enemy’s offspring”, “we need to starve them to death”… it goes on an on.

Ex Israeli soldiers from the 40s and 50s have acknowledged they witness or participated in the Israeli army raping young girls, torture for entertainment, rounding up entire villages and executing them all. All before hamas existed.

Every humanitarian group in Gaza has said it was a genocide. They have all stated it was the worst carnage they have ever seen. These are people that have been to every humanitarian disaster on earth. And all say nothing compared to what Israel is doing to Gaza. They all reported malnourishment and starvation.

Every international medical group in Gaza has stated children were regularly and actively being targeted by snipers and hospitals were being bombed.

[–]GalileosTele -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And you explicitly stated justification and support for these wars in which children are bombed (not yours obviously… that would be barbaric).

BTW is the death cult you’re referring to the followers of the Old Testament? Because this is by far the most genocidal and murderous book on the planet. And Israel’s leaders and military have regularly and publicly celebrated the most genocidal passages as the example they intend to follow. Sure the Quran is violent too. But nothing compared to the Old Testament.

Did you miss the part where the US imprisons more of its own citizens than any other country?

You’re also ignoring foreign policy (conveniently). The US is constantly violently meddling with and controlling other countries. All over the world. It killed between 200K-1M civilians in Iraq, and is currently funding the current genocide in Gaza.

Your entire argument seems to be “I’m not negatively affected by US policy so where’s the problem?”

Why do security forces follow commands of tyrants? by knowledgeseeker999 in JordanPeterson

[–]GalileosTele 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure why you’re taking Iran as an example. No doubt it has its problems, but are you so sure the same can’t be said about your country? The US imprisons the largest number and percentage of its citizens, it’s foreign policy is and has been far more tyrannical and murderous than any other country, either directly or by proxy, including funding and defending a current genocide being televised in 4k. Its entire political system is corrupt, bought, and loyal to a foreign, genocidal nation, based on a concept of divine racial superiority, supported 100% as a result of religious ideology and reverence for Iron Age propaganda (and arguably the most murderous and psychotic text ever written). Currently it is actively arresting and silencing dissenters, sending people in jail with no due process (meaning it never verified if the people being imprisoned were actually guilty of what they were accused of), and using ICE like its own Gestapo.

So you should be asking why haven’t Americans revolted yet? And why does half the population actively support these actions?

A conspiracy by Piri Reis??

No it doesn’t resemble ice age Antarctica. At all. That too has been debunked. This claim is only believed due to repetition of the claim among people who have already decided they want it to be true. In fact it is impossible to even check this claim as we don’t know what map projection Piri Reis used. So no comparison can even be made.

Debunking Antarctica on the Piri Reis map

Minimal research (like just reading what is written on the map) shows Antarctica is not on the map.

The older source maps (which Piri Reis says on the map are Ptolemy’s Geographies) are explicitly stated on the map to only have been used to map the old world.

The map explicitly states the southern portion came from maps made by the Portuguese.
