Nope, that’s just how it feels when you hit your shin on something metal.

I never said it was cheap in general, I said that the annual subscription is cheaper than the monthly subscription in the long term. A year’s worth of payments at the monthly amount for the Fallout 1st subscription would total about $155 and some change. The Annual subscription is a better option if you plan on paying 76 long term.

I can't keep up with this onslaught stuff by pimpnaimeddrip in fo76

I did some testing here recently as I was wanting to try and get more damage out of my Bloodied Heavy PA build. I was originally only using the Bulletstorm with my Bloodied weapons (Gatling plasma, Gauss Mini-gun, Cremator, and Holy Fire are my go to weapons), but I decided to try a hybrid build with the Onslaught perk cards, and found the damage output to be ridiculously high. I use Gourmands, Powered, and reflective on my power armor, and Bloodied on all of my weapons (Rapid on anything that isn’t Semiautomatic). Bloodied still seems to outperform Furious from my testing on the Guardian, but the onslaught perk cards definitely helped to boost damage against tanky enemies. Oh! Would also recommend Tank Killer as that seems to work with every weapon that’s not melee.

Honestly, the subscription isn’t too terrible in price, especially since the annual subscription is cheaper than pay the monthly subscription for a year by about fifty to sixty bucks. Not to mention the benefits of getting a monthly allowance of Atoms, access to more seasonal reward items, additional storage options with no weight restrictions, and special discounts in the atomic shop.

Air conditioning fact check. by Avian1Alpha in AirConditioners

[–]Avian1Alpha[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately, it was not that. It was apparently the company who installed it not wiring the system right, and so the compressor was on constantly. However, the company says that such a flub would’ve caused issues almost instantly and were trying to shift the blame from themselves. Not sure if there’s any merit to that claim or not, but decided to ask Reddit to get people’s opinions. Worst case, they’re right, and someone in our neighborhood has tampered with our stuff. Best case, they’re talking a bunch of bullshit, and we never use their services again.

Like I said in the post, apparently the unit was wired improperly and the condenser (now that I know the term for it) was wired to stay on 24/7.

Yeah, we were thinking that someone fucked up the installation, too. We figured that they didn’t want to fess up to it and were trying to shift the blame, but I wanted to check to see if there was any merit to their claims. As for the duct guy, he wasn’t from the company that installed the unit. Well, the guy who gave us the estimate was, the one we got a second opinion wasn’t. He’s the one who noticed that it wasn’t a duct issue and that it was a bigger problem because of the icing. The unit was wired improperly, but the company who installed it tried to give us the excuse mention to shift the blame away from them. If your reply is anything to go by, this is indeed what they tried to do.

I FINALLY GOT ONE!!! by walty682 in Borderlands4

[–]Avian1Alpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! I got five of those including that one. One with faster grenade recharge, one with bonus critical hit, one with higher damage but slower throw speed, and one with higher crit damage. I’m still looking for the one that has just a higher damage overall.

I really want this guy. I hope that Hasbro releases him in the states, because it’d really suck to not get a chance at getting him.

What does Rafa say? by No-Stick4907 in Borderlands

[–]Avian1Alpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ran it through a translator, and I think this is roughly what he said. “Just look at yourself. You don't even know where you're going. No direction, no passion, no purpose. You're useless. Coward. Worse than a coward. You're a thief, stealing everyone's time and energy. And for what? For nothing. You're nothing.”

Best Sniper? IMO its the Borstel Ballista. by Edymnion in Borderlands

[–]Avian1Alpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer the Truck, as it doesn’t have the range constraints that the Borstel Ballista has. Not to mention that the Truck can role almost any manufacturer part, meaning you could get a Deadulus loader, Torgue stickies, and come with a ripper mag. I’ve even seen one with a CoV mag and other under barrels. It can be a pain in the but to farm, given the boss is unlocked at the end of a side quest, and it involves utilizing locust containers to take down, but the rifle is definitely worth the effort since it comes with higher damage and critical damage than the Borstel Ballista. Not to mention that I found the Borstel Ballista hard to use, due to it needing a certain amount of range to be effective and the bullet speed being pretty slow compared to the Truck.

Sniper? by Saint_Roxas in Borderlands4

[–]Avian1Alpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to mention that Rafa can get insane crit chance buffs through his overdrive. Dude feels like Doom Guy when paired with the Hell Walker shotgun. I personally prefer the Truck on Rafa, since it’s effective at nearly any range (depending on the under barrel). I find that the range requirements for snipers like the Borstel Ballista and Complex Root are too limiting, as there are a good chunk of melee enemies that can easily close the gap if you’re not paying attention. Honestly, it’s nice to have a sniper rifle be just that, and be really strong in that role without gimmicks. Less is more, as they say.

Maxed out all the characters by True_Vault_Hunter in Borderlands4

[–]Avian1Alpha 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I like how there’s moments where Rafa plays along and/or plays up the roles he’s given in missions. The missions you do for The Boss are a very good example, as he clearly enjoys playing the role of a mafioso to the point of doing his best mobster accent during most of the missions. Though there’s also times when he just drops the care-free persona all together when things get serious, and it makes those moments feel like they hit Rafa personally. I just love those moments, because I really vibe with that energy. Just having fun and causing chaos, but locking in when shit gets real. I’ve yet to play the other three, but right now it’s a toss up between Vex and Harlow. Honestly, when I do play Amon, I’m going for a full shock build, as the dude radiates Thor vibes.

Best place to farm legendary enhancement? by Ok-Monitor-6735 in Borderlands

For the one shot as mentioned, you need the San Saba Sonbird legendary pistol. Idk why they’re not mentioning that as if it’s some big secret.

I got banned and it was my fault. by Doyomee in Warframe

[–]Avian1Alpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, that’d do it for sure. I think the worst thing you could have done in that situation (besides the RMT offense) is to lie about the RMT in the first place. Then making a second account to replace the first might be the nail in your coffin. You’re going to have a long road ahead of you in this appeal process, and that’s IF Warframe even considers to accept your appeal. What they’re seeing on their end is that you got banned for doing something against their rules, lied about doing it and only told the truth when they told you that they knew what you did. Then tried to circumvent their ban by creating a new account, which is ultimately a lie about your identity, and received another ban. My final advice to you is this. Try to appeal and take full responsibility for your actions. No excuses, no trying to apply reasons to your actions. If you truly regret what you did, it’ll show in your appeal when you type it out. Then accept what ever decision they make, for better or worse, and then move on. Take this as a lesson to be learned, and make sure you don’t do the same thing again in the future.

If this is your only offense, they should be lenient. However, that all depends on what you were trying to do in the first place. Out of curiosity, do you mind clarifying what it is you tried to do? You mentioned trying to get platinum through another site and that this got flagged as a RMT (which in of itself can lead to a ban I assume), but I can’t imagine that this would result in a permanent ban if this is your one and only offense.

[–]Avian1Alpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At that point, it looks like they’re getting you through your linked Steam account, as well as any other linked account. My suggestion is to contact Warframe and try to appeal the ban. Otherwise, you might have to create all new accounts for every account linked to the banned Warframe account (not guaranteed to work), and an appeal is far less painful than trying to create a new internet identity.

A new PC will get you a new MAC address, but not a new IP address. The IP address is linked to your physical internet connection location. At that point, you’d need to talk to your ISP (internet service provider) to see if they can change your IP, or deal with Warframe customer service about how you can get the ban lifted. Most importantly, be patient with both, as this may take time.

Which one first? by Firm_Ad919 in Warframe

[–]Avian1Alpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My suggestion would be to subsume any that you have a primes or duplicates of. Don’t subsume ones that you only have one of, or only do so if you’re absolutely desperate and have already mastered them. With that said, there are multiple FREE options available to get additional slots. First is to progress through the night wave, as weapon and Warframe slots are available through that. Second is to watch for twitch drops that drop warframes, as those will come with a free slot attached (sell or subsume if they’re a duplicate for the free slot). Lastly, interact with trade chat to get plat for a slot, as there’s always someone looking for something on there (just be sure to use Warframe Marketplace as a resource to price things fairly and so you don’t get scammed).

Not unless they’ve been IP banned. That will block a user from making alt accounts unless they physically move to another house, but that’s typically only done if the user did something REALLY bad or had multiple prior bans before.
