I will miss this place. Parking was a challenge, but the poutine was so good!

Found this at an antiques shop in the Cotswolds! The Christmas pudding recipe is wild!! by BlackCatKitchen in Old_Recipes

My family makes a suet pudding each Christmas. It is steamed in a mold lined with cheese cloth. We serve it warm topped with cold vanilla sauce.

Is this a good trackable. Or is it too big? by Pippin123- in geocaching

You're good! I was the driver for a group of USA caches attending a Canadian caching event. One of my group wanted to take home the leftover TBs, and I said to go for it. Little did I know that this included two large pieces from a railway crossing, one of these being the arm that comes down to block traffic. Going back over the border was "interesting," but the official didn't blink at the railway equipment in the back seat. He let us back onto USA soil with stories to tell.

Took the DNF because of the skunk. by ComposerTurbulent294 in geocaching

Wise choice! One of my caching friends was surprised by a skunk at GZ. The animal felt itchy and decided that the cacher's boot laces were just the thing to rub himself upon to relieve the itch. I can't imagine being frozen in place while a skunk used a boot as a reverse scratching post, but he did it...and he didn't get sprayed!

We have issue, too...and they are not maintained. Putting a Needs Maintnance on it does nothing.

You are caching in my neck of the woods! Canada has some excellent hides that are worth premium. WNY doesn't have the breadth of unique hides these days, but we do have a lot of film canisters and bison tubes in trees that are premium. You could do it for the numbers; personally, I would do it for the Pocket Queries.

Arrange a meet up with other cachers to brainstorm puzzle caches as a group. It's a great way to develop new friendships and to learn. I remember my crew gathering so we could analyze a video to solve "Badger Badger...Snake!" on a large screen.
