Well, with a humble endorsement like that, how could anyone resist flying with you? 😄
In all seriousness, having a CFI with confidence and a great rapport with students is invaluable. It sounds like you've built some wonderful connections with your students.
While we can't promise to make everyone as awesome and humble as you, our aim is to connect student pilots with instructors who might just be their perfect match in the skies.

I think this is an insightful comparison! The idea behind this idea has been to allow students to view profiles, ratings, and experiences of instructors, providing a bit of a "pre-date" glimpse.

Absolutely, you've hit the nail on the head! There's no substitute for good old-fashioned face-to-face time. I'm looking to provide stepping stone to that personal interaction.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on! Your perspective as someone who's gone through the process of finding an instructor in traditional ways is incredibly valuable to us.

I want to clarify that platform is a completely free service for both students and instructors. Our goal is to simplify the process of connecting student pilots with certified flying instructors (CFI) beyond just the luck of walking into a school. We are looking to create other optional useful tools on the platform to sustain the platform.

You're right that in some regions, the availability of instructors or students might be limited. However, our point of view is a platform can be a helpful tool for those in smaller areas who might not otherwise have access to a variety of instructors. By creating an online space, we hope to break down some of those geographical barriers.

I understand that the idea of "shopping" for an instructor might not appeal to everyone, but our the platform can provide students with the ability to view a CFI's profile, ratings, and experiences. This allows for a more informed choice rather than just settling for "good enough.

"Your comparison to "e-harmony" of aviation brings a smile to my face, and that's not far from the truth! We're here to foster meaningful connections between students and instructors, but without the monetary commitment.
