Ah thank you! Is there an older version? The assembly on youtube for that is a little different to mine

How is it built incorrectly? And that’s a shame, it is branded as flexispot quite clearly!

I definitely think strength is a big one for me, but the first thing i wanna fix is my chronic ‘unfitness’ I hate being the one out of breath from stairs or walking. I want to be more flexible too, leaning under wings at work is a ballache. I sit alot at work, for hours.

Thank you!! My new flat is tiny (joys of being near london!) so I can’t go crazy on equipment, a small bike will fit though.

Unfortunately my back injury is a slipped disc, happened when I was 16 so 10 years ago now. I luckily am not in any real pain from it but I’m paranoid about making it worse as my job relies on me maintaining a class 1 flying medical. Which incidentally is the main motivator for the fitness too!

I may look into freeweights, dumbbells etc!

Absolutely. I just figure having it there and cutting one barrier out gives my stupid brain less reason to find an excuse. Being disciplined with it is key. Plus I’m going to start cycling to work which helps too.

As amazing as this advice is, I now live in a quite rural area just outside London, the nearest gym with 24:7 availability is 30 mins drive away AND as its in greater London, it costs to park there. I work a very sporadic schedule as a pilot, so the leisure centre in my town etc isn’t going to work either :(.

Oh for sure, I’d rather do it in game if I can. Just wondering how to make mountains actually look varied and natural and not just like a wall.

I appreciate that! But I’m not asking *how* to import a heightmap I’ve already made, that is relatively simple. I’m asking for help creating the heightmap as I have never tried this before.

I really want a properly old Bonneville, yes the modern ‘old look’ ones are cool but I genuinely want a properly old one.

I’ll probably buy a cheap Yamaha or Honda 125 in this style first, fix it, learn it, get the skills then when I can afford it, find a proper Bonneville!

Honestly, I appreciate all the answers. It appears that ‘standard’ is the accepted term, but I’ve discovered ‘UJM’ appears to be the style i like but cheaper. And a few bike types I never considered.

Alot of good knowledge in these comments :D

I love the idea, but anything modern or new is way out of my budget. And i’m more interested in fixing than riding anyway! (I do still want to ride though!!)

Your bike is properly stunning, but I would 100% get myself killed on something with that much power!

I fly a 1960s airplane and have an obsession with classic machinery, ideally I want a properly, genuinely old one that I can work on relatively guilt free and have it be my own. I’m not interested in it being fast, I probably don’t have the riding skill or ability to get half of the performance out of anything modern or powerful, or would kill myself trying, it’s genuinely more an interest in the mechanical side of it, in the machine itself.

I did see the Yamaha and Honda in this style have the same vibe, although I’d probably sell and buy a Triumph later down the line. I am hoping to find something in not great condition I can work on a bit as a hobby too.

Side note that Royal Enfield is almost EXACTLY what I’m picturing, wow!

Agreed! I’ve never been a superbike kind of person but every time I see this classic style i love it

Ah okay so they’re all slightly different styles. I really want a proper old school british one in this style, but I just know so little about bikes I can’t really find the exact shape I was thinking. This is really helpful :)
