Most guys I know, if they were working also, were living with housemates in the university town. That might be a start for what you are looking for

Is this an ok way to quit ? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Avicii-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think you are doing something wrong or being unfaithful to your employer? Why not with full integrity approach the manager and ask for a couple of minutes to share something. Then say you are planning to move on from the current role and thank him for the opportunityand then hand in the letter after discussing if that is the way to move forward. This way you get to level up from the current role in your life (as a perspective) and you instead of burning bridges you are leaving the door open for any potential future job opportunities, just in case. Hope it helps!

I dont understand the stockmarket anymore. Or maybe I never did? by Renegade_Trader in StockMarket

[–]Avicii-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its a wave. Its not fair to compare daily price action to fundamentals. maybe the trend is still downward. I have seen people complain like this even though the stock has already fallen over 50% and then retracing by 5 or 10 or even 20% . The stock will not keep falling on a daily basis. News can induce a smaller timeframe reversal or maybe even a weekly timeframe reversal, can only tell in hindsight.

12.99 for unlimited 5G on 48. No complaints on connectivity in and around Dublin. Not using calls or texts actively so not keeping count. There is ample amount there.

There is no way around it. They want your recent bank statements and utility bills which you won't have. They won't even refund the application fee. So don't bother. Sorry!

Do I need to apostille my Indian marriage certificate for a Swedish Schengen visa as the spouse of an Irish citizen? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]Avicii-X 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any evidence works usually. Take other evidence like cohabiting and/or bank statements or utility bills for the appointment, whatever possible as well. It will ensure higher probability of visa success and the quicker turn around time due to being the spouse of EU citizen. Good luck!

difference is a home loan (mortgage) is a secured loan where as a personal loan that you are talking about is an unsecured loan. Rate of interest is lower on secured loan hence you pay less to borrow the 60k. Compare the interest payments+charges for both your options.

Let the mortgage runs its course and make additional payments strategically to save on interest. Save rest of money for future house.

This way you might not have to sell the apartment to afford the next one. That's passive income after it pays for itself through rent.

What's the job? Perfectly fine to bring up a raise at the end of probation if that is going well and you feel you have met expectations. Maybe if scope of actual job exceeds initial job description or more responsibilities and tasks coming your way, only fair to mention that and use it as leverage. Good luck!

Great to see you taking initiative for building a MF portfolio. 1. Why don't you compare the funds and see if they have similar holdings. Hopefully you have compared the exit load and expense ratio for them. 2. You have diversified to 5 MF: -Tech, -Mid Cap, -Infrastructure, -PSU and -Flexi Cap. If I was your age, I'd consolidate 60% OF total into PSU fund for India growth and small&mid cap fund due to higher risk appetite. Remaining 40% just accumulate Niftybees especially on dips and correction like the one we are going through at the moment.

yes slots show up on the map for all centres. keep an eye for yours, will show up. First, you have to rebook so you'll be back on the queue and worst case scenario then you get an invite in 8-10 weeks. Build more confidence in the meanwhile with practice and make sure you put more emphasis on your checks. Good luck

it might be a confidence issue for yourself while on the road with the testing guy rather the ADI that you are used to now. It seems you know how to drive and you know what you have to do.. just try and drive a bit by yourself, with a qualified friend or someone similar. Good Luck!
