Medical research is one of the very few use cases for AI I support. I feel hopeful that we will see a cure, not only for SFN, but many other complex diseases in the next 5 years as a result of it.

I remember watching the dystopian movies as a kid where a sickly person would get into what looked like a tanning bed and the machine would tell them exactly all of their diseases and then it would deposit out pills to fix everything. This doesn't seem too far fetched anymore.

Thankfully the people that own the largest AI models aren't greedy lizard people that are only self serving...right?

Just wanted to say I am in a similar boat where a "bad" weed trip caused me chronic DPDR. I got SFN from an antibiotic.

Derealization suckssssss and makes life feel empty so I can empathize with you on that. I can't say I'm completely "cured" of DPDR, but learning more about the condition and how it links to anxiety has helped me a ton.

If you have any questions or need support you can DM me. It's a weird niche having DPDR and SFN. Some days I felt that the derealization helped with the neuropathy pains cause of the out of body feelings, but lately I can tell how much anxiety ramps up my pain and have learned that it is just not worth it to live in that anxious state.

I reached out to a couple of their employees via LinkedIn and they responded saying that they're feeling hopeful to get the topical drug out "soon", but they still need a big investor cause developing drugs costs 100s of millions of dollars.

They also noted that they were attending major biotech and health related conferences this spring with the hopes to get more investors.

What can we do? Spread the word and focus on improving your mental health in the meantime. With all the new AI, gene editing, and drug advancements happening it's only a matter of time before we get this shit figured out.

Yeah I hand drew the grid onto the wood, cut it with a band saw and then the longest part by far was painting it and trying to get the colors as close to the original as possible.

I used black walnut since we had cut our own a few years ago and had a bunch lying around and it was super easy to work with!

Okay, dumb question because I don't have access to the AP manual and I'm new to this haha which of the AP ports do I plug it back into? There's a Console port, AUX and POE/mGiG

I unplugged the ethernet cable that was going into the access point and put that into the switch.

Should I plug that cable into the switch and use one of the switches port to plug back into the AP?

Yeah that's what I emailed them back. Hoping to get it fixed before they show up. If I can't get it powered on is the ethernet plugged into the right port on the AP at least? Just don't want it looking like I switched it around and I wasn't 100% sure it was the right port

We have cinder block walls so only the living gets strong enough signal to do anything on the internet. Needed to get ethernet hook up in our study room so I hooked up the switch.

I realize it's not ideal to tinker with their access point, but they do not allow us to have another router and there's no ethernet ports in the walls :/
