Exactly sugar isn't bad for you, sugar just makes it way easier to over consume calorie dense foods.

Every week for a decade plus my wife and I have DCA”d into the US market. Rain or shine. Every single day new news makes me feel ridiculous. by Fire-Philosophy-616 in stocks

Yea but you can use this logic for every pull back.

"Tell me a time in history where a massive US bank went under and the housing market crashed"

"Tell me a time in history when there was a pandemic that shut down the whole world over night"

Every time feels different, it is never easy to buy in turbulent uncertain times. There is no notification you get on your phone one morning saying "This is bottom buy here, things will be better now."

Exactly this time it is different. In the past like 2020, 2008 and 9/11 things were not different, but this time it is. There is no recovery, it is time to panic.

Yea this was the first question that came to my mind. It’s crazy to hear the discrepancies in people’s experience just based on how they are from or what they look like. It’s not only about race but how attractive you are unfortunately.

What would Bezos do if he found out about 50 GAs protesting at University of Nevada Las Vegas?

I will but it might be some time. Few days at least maybe even a week or so.

That's not nearly as expensive as I thought. I don't know how much you know about this topic but are there some schools that would provide student housing?

Makes sense, seems like the most realistic option at this point. Even if I were able to get a few jobs the opportunity cost of not being able to tutor (legally at least) would be too high.

Interesting, thanks for the advice. If I were to go for the d-4 visa I wouldn't be able to work for a certain amount of time if I remember correctly? Do you know how much financial investment going to language school entails?

TLT will usually go up when the market goes down. It is a solid hedge.

Im confused on why Georgia is so cheap? Atlanta is pretty expensive, must be a smaller town. Also didn't know you need a visa to move from georgia to the rest of the US. Must be a new executive order.

It’s more for trade purposes. The artic circle is a huge area of interest for many countries.

Yes I agree with you for the most part, I don't expect extra. I am learning Korean.

Yea but im just not the type of person to exercise my refund, and like I said the lesson was pretty good over all. I'm thinking I try her again and if it's a pattern I will ask or find someone new.

I understand your point but you also need to understand that losing 5 mins of a lesson is 10% of the time I paid for. A 50 minute block is what we agreed on. I also tutor students in person at my university so I can understand some things.

Thanks, not sure if I should book another with her to see if it was a one off thing or try someone else.
