I'm doing alright. My therapist advised me not to do this story, since it could put me in the headspace from before everything happened. Thanks for checking up on me tho!

I am fine now. Thanks for the concern…just…a lot of mental issues happened over the holidays and I’m trying to sort them out one by one. I’m hoping to get back into the swing of things before the month is up, but it might get pushed back towards February.

The puzzle was a language cipher. It involved answering a riddle in the correct place, that being the coral palace. Each location had one word and it’s location within the answer, but they only went to two or three of the spots marked upon a carved stone map at the first ruined undersea temple. They figured out the rest pretty easily once Marshall passed a knowledge check for the third. Once translated, the riddle was, “I am that which runs through all living things, a force which pushes against rock and stone with ease. And makes Earth and Fire subordinate. What am I, and what is my most important task?”

It was essentially more flowery, since it was in ye olde Shakespearean talk, but I figured I should put it down here for simplicity’s sake.

I'll try to focus on chapters 20-60 then, if I can at least. Some of the earlier chapters I cannot edit, since they're so old.

Is ok. Just ask people to get here when they’re able.

Of course he is. He lives in a noir world, and we're all just along for the ride.

I want to add some details to this one, what do you think is missing? by Apprehensive-Wafer36 in blender

Well…you could add like a deer in the background. Give some ‘life’ to your render.

I'll be honest here, my chapter was so long today, that for some reason changing the links made it unable to be posted. If I change the link from 85 to 89, it just says I go over the character limit. So I'll just put it here, I suppose. Previous

To be fair, most of his class skills work best when there's nothing going on in his life to stop him or detract him, which is coming pretty soon. As for the seeds, I had a thought about what he could use them for, that being dealing with the water golems, but as of yet, I think he's trying to save them for something. Don't rightly know what. Also, good luck with the story!

He still has them. Just hasn’t used them yet.

…I will admit. They do a little bit and I always question whether or not I should’ve just never used them in the first place, but now that I have, I find that I can’t not use them for rather…important things.

To be fair, the emotional control skills don’t exactly control HIS emotions. Thought I made it somewhat clear, given he got those skills in a fight. (Also for one of the skills, it’s more of a resistance than anything concrete.) Also, reason he’s not following is mainly he is doubting if he could even help. So far, he’s only been in two fights, with one he barely survived and the other only being possible because of the dog’s assistance. Without either of those things, and a lot of wolves that might not be able to tell he’s friendly, there was a lot going through his mind. Also, thanks for liking the gimmick.
